I don’t know if this dress was made at the time I ordered it or if it just floated around China for a bit, but it took several weeks to arrive. I am the Mother of the Groom (MOG), I was lucky because the wedding isn’t until October 2019. It’s currentkt April 2019. But WOW! this dress is beautiful! The photos in the description do not do it justice! I ordered 2 colors, Grey and Navy, true navy, the wedding colors are Grey tuxes and Aubergine/plum dresses for the girls. So either color I end up wearing will compliment. The dress is so pretty that I can’t decide which color, and for the price, (compared to bridal salons) I think I’m keeping both. Remember it’s formalwear so order larger. I wear 14 in pants and 16-18 in tops bc I don’t like them tight. I ordered this in 18 plus. It fits almost perfectly, I have a short torso so it’s a little long in the waist, but it has a lace up corset type back waist for a custom fit. It is a little tight in the arm holes but it’s not uncomfortable. The bodice is firm, (no stretch) there is boning to help keep its shape and smooth out any rolls. It’s firm enough that I don’t think I will have to wear a bra. Thank goodness bc these girls (40D) won’t stay in a strapless bra anyway! The dress is also long on me, I’m 5’ 4”, 185 pounds. In the photos I tied the laces around the waist solely for pics for the bride to be. It does not have a belt, it doesn’t need one. I’m a bit embarrassed, I’ve ordered 5 different dress, this one was the last one. It’s the best one! It’s beautiful but the pictures just didn’t sell me on it but I’m so glad I gave it a chance! I finally got my dress! YAY!

This dress exceeded my expectations completely! I ordered this in the champagne color for my mother to wear to her 50th-anniversary celebration. The color has a hint of pink to it which is nice because you run the risk of champagne being too yellow. We sent in her measurements, adding an inch at the bust and waist because she didn't want it to be too fitted and knew there would be no give with this type of material. She actually had to have it altered to remove that extra inch hahaha! So definitely order exactly to your measurements, you will not regret it! The detail of the top is really beautiful and quality workmanship. The top does include support so you can go bra-less! Will try to add pictures of the dress from party day!

This dress is so beautiful, however, it is very heavy and will be much too hot for an outdoor, July wedding. I did not realize it was 3 heavy layers of fabric plus the applique. The fit was perfect as they made it to my measurements. I think I received it within 2 weeks of ordering. Very pleased. Unfortunately, because of the weight, I will be returning this dress.I would completely recommend this for a fall or winter event.

I could have used just a little more room in the breast area but it's not the maker's fault. Instead of using my old dress size I should have chosen custom and gone to be professionally measured. I wore it as a hostess and everyone from the bride to the wedding party, other hostesses, etc loved this dress. It complimented my 6'0 height and was very elegantly crafted, from the material and all of the beautiful design. You won't need to wear a bra, It's built-in the dress nor do you need any type of slip for it. Get measured so it will be perfect. One last thing lest I forget the designer sent a thank you card with the dress, for me it was a great personal touch.

I absolutely love this dress! The workmanship is amazing! The dress looks exactly like the picture. Unfortunately I did not order the right size. Most of the measurements from the size chart matched mine except the bust on the chart was bigger than my measurements. I saw some of the reviews that mentioned the dress being tight in the chest area so I thought it would be all right but I should have followed the other reviewers' advice and sent in my measurements. I ordered the dress again with customized sizing and will review that one when it comes in. Oh! The dress came in very quickly! About 2 weeks from order to delivery.

This is a stunning dress which is actually better seen in person than on the screen.I am 5'8" and weigh 175lbs and got the size 16. This was purchased for my son's wedding in Feb. and like I said it is lovely with only one problem. It is VERY long. Even in my highest heels I would still be afraid of putting a hole in the bottom. I should have sent my dimensions to the seller first as she will do the tailoring but I didn't which is my own fault. BUT to show you how good they are I let the seller know about my problem and she said that I should get it shortened locally and she will pay a portion of it! She did not have to do that at all but she did and deserves high praise and your business as well.

Quality craftmanship. Beautiful dress. Returned. Too tight at shoulders and back. Would order again from this seller, but would be more generous in measurements. Error on side of larger.
