Esperanto-English Dictionary: Esperanta-Angla Vortaro (Esperanto Edition)

This dictionary arrived way ahead of schedule and in brand new condition as advertised. Esthetically, it's a very nice looking reference work. (However, I think it's too expensive since most of the definitions are limited to one-word English equivalents.) Nevertheless, the dictionary iscomprehensive with its 52,000 entries. Inaddition, model phrases are provided toillustrate proper usage. Such examples are helpful.

This is a great and comprehensive dictionary, however it doesn't have a way to look up English words to find the Esperanto meaning. That being said that'd be hard to impliment given the size of it, but I'd recommend making a Kindle version.

I'm the founder of the ESPDIC (Esperanto-English Dictionary) project and compiled most of its 50,000+ entries. Michael Everson of Evertype contacted me regarding his plans to publish a printed version of ESPDIC and then spent a significant amount of time and effort both editing/proofreading the dictionary as well as adding over 800 entries of his own.When I saw the print copy of this dictionary I was very pleased with the quality of Michael's work. The formatting is visually attractive, easy to read, and well laid-out. The paper/binding are also both of excellent quality (especially important for a dictionary).I would highly recommend this dictionary to anyone looking for a comprehensive, easy-to-use, and durable Esperanto-English dictionary.Paul Denisowski

esperant語の辞書らしくない単語配置だ．頭にmalがついた単語が大量にあったり，amiとamo,viro,virinoなどが別項目になっている．新選エス和辞典のような語幹ごとに単語配置するのは使いにくいのだろうか．私には使いにくく感じるが，本当の初心者にはいいのかもしれない．基本的と見える単語（恐らく英語的に）,前置詞にはかなりの使用例がついている．ほとんどの単語には訳だけだ．antaux',antaux'aなど別項目で使用例が別々についているのが面白い．
