I have a 300w grid tie invertor, can this (or 3 of them) connect directly to it?

Yes it can, connect three of these in parallel and your grid tie inverter would need to accept 12V panels which can output up to 18V.

The quoted optimum quoted is 2.71a for 50W panel, but what should I expect on a sunny and cloudy day?

Most of the time these ratings are based on 1000W/m^2 sun output. This is typically only achievable in hot places like near the equator. There are calculators online to calculate panel efficiency based on your geographical location and the time of year.

Which cable connecting kit do i need for 3 of these please anyone??

You do get a 3 connection to one cable on here. It will take 3 leads for 3 solar panels 12v down to one 12v cable and in to your inverter or usb converter
