I had high hopes for this kettle even though it was relatively new on Amazon with not many reviews. After following the instructions to clean the kettle before use I noticed faint, black dots appear on the bottom of the kettle after first boil and I could not wipe them away. Tried again and it still remained as you can see in the pictures. I even used vinegar and lemon juice but once I used water the dots appeared again.The seller eventually got back to me as I did try to contact them first. They told me it is normal for scaling to form over time. Remember I had only just received the kettle and boiled water 1 time when it appeared.Not going to risk the health of my family over this. Thankful for Amazon returns!

I have used it every day for a week and it boils water in about three minutes. I'm using this electric water heater for my morning coffee that I make in my French Press. Works as directed and looks good too.

Drinking more tea instead of soda with this around. Heats fast and the outside stays cool.

Very simple design and easy to clean.

This is a great water boiler. Easy to use and shuts off automatically. Water boils much much faster then a tea kettle. Seems well made.
