Really Great Camp Hatchet
I was looking for a solid no-frills hatchet with a classic aesthetic and this worked out great. It's surprisingly high quality for the price, and the head has a wonderful visual texture being not quite smooth or uniform. It's hand forged in Sweden apparently, how fancy. The handle is solid and has an attractive wood grain. It could probably use re-finishing but I honestly love the way it looks so I may just leave it. It's attached to the head firmly and securely. As other reviews have stated, the Husky logo is just printed on the wood surface instead of burnt on, which is a missed opportunity. Oh well, it sanded off in about 5 minutes and now it's devoid of branding except for the small elegant logo pressed into the metal head. This suits me just fine. It needed an edge when it arrived, but I was in a rush and ended up skipping it for my first camping trip. It still worked great, it was the only hatchet we had, so it saw a good amount of use splitting wood and cutting sticks. I put an edge on it when I got home and it works all the better, hasn't showed signs of needed a new one yet. Big bonus, it even comes with a nice leather blade cover that has a nice metal snap closure! The whole thing feels like a much higher-quality product than the price would suggest (Printed Husky logo notwithstanding) so pick it up if you're looking for a good hatchet that doesn't look like it came from a sci-fi Viking movie.

Hand forged in Sweden. Excellent value.
I bought mine in 2019 for $54.99. Man, what a deal that was. Looks like the price has jumped up $20, but it's still an incredible value for your money. Husqvarna hatchets are primarily hand-forged in Sweden, often made by established Swedish axe manufacturers like Hultafors at Hults Bruk. I wanted something nicer than you'd find at your local hardware store and Wranglerstar turned me onto this one. Sheath is top notch thick leather with brass rivets. The handle shape is excellent. I think I'll use it as a template to make my next one.

It's a Swedish steel hatchet
It's a hatchet. It cuts wood. Seriously though it's a thinner Swedish steel blade supposedly made in the Hultafors forges. While not as refined as a Hults Bruk or even the Hultafors, it is still a great axe. With minimal work this is a fine tool that will last a lifetime. The handle I got was tight grained and dead-on. With minor handle reshaping, sanding and a tung oil coat it is comfortable in the hand and beautiful to look at. I did not need to reprofile the edge, but it did need a little more time on the stone to bring to the sharpness I wanted. The steel seems good and took the edge well. For the price it is well worth it.

Great Hatchet
Great hatchet, very durable and use it all the time to make kindling. I sanded down the handle to make it smoother and used tongue oil to protect it. good steel that has held a good edge.

Worth the money, but needs work
I bought this as a camp hatchet that I keep in my bag. I had wanted a forged head with a solid hickory handle. For the price I figured I wouldn't be too disappointed if it was junk. When I received it I was actually surprised. It was a well made axe. Mine has quite a few hammer marks from forging, but it gives it character. I started modifying by sanding down the lacquered handle, and putting a char finish with multiple coats of linseed oil. The blade was dull, however I've gotten used things showing up dull. I didn't care for how they left the bevel. It didn't cut well at all. If you don't mind spending a few hours with some files you can put a good edge on it The sheath is actually quality leather. However, it's one of those that snap on, and if you shake the axe a little it'll fall off. I drilled a hole between the rivets and put a leather cord so I can tie it around the handle.

First Husquavarna axe
My first Husqvarna axe. The cost vs quality is fantastic value. Came sharp. A couple passes on fine diamond plate yielded super sharp blade. VG BALANCE, handle ergonomics is very comfortable for my XL hands.

You get what you Axe for.
I like the Axe. I wanted a cheap bushcrafting axe. First axe I've ever purchased. it's not beautiful when you get it. Didn't have a wood finish, not sharpened.. However, if you are fine with learning to sharpen, and willing to put the time and energy into your axe, you can turn $40 into $100 axe. I can shave my leg with the axe (file and lansky stone/oil), and put some linseed oil on the handle.. it's now a nice handle and splits wood like a champ. I like the curve of the handle for grip, the weight to do all the work, and it's a perfect axe for me after putting in the effort. Some natural "hand forged" details that make me think it won't have a super long durability, but it's $40.... Make wood go split.
