Ubbi Lavender Scented Odor Absorbing Gels, 3-Pack

When browsing for a product that would help control odor from our Ubbi diaper pail, I went back and forth between different brands. I liked the idea of a charcoal filter that would go on the lid, but saw it had to be removed each time you open it due to the structure of the Ubbi pail. I went with the Ubbi brand and I must say I'm happy given the mixed reviews I initially read. We place one of the pucks right in the bottom of the pail and it really does make a difference when opening the diaper pail. Yes, there's still the unpleasant scent of dirty diapers, but this significantly cuts down on the odor-- like I'd say it's more of a fraction of what it was before. For this price, I can't really complain. I may still purchase some cheap carbon filters to adhere to the inside of the pail for extra protection, but I'm very satisfied with this purchase, especially based on the price for a 3-pack.

I use these in my mother’s diaper pail and also in the bottom of our kitchen garbage can with an automatic lid. They make a big difference; the odor is noticeably lighter and much easier to manage. While they don’t completely eliminate very strong smells, they do a great job of keeping things fresh overall. They also last longer than I expected, which makes them an excellent value. I’ve purchased them twice now and will definitely keep buying this product. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with persistent household odors!

I bought these to help with the poo smell coming from the closed diaper pail. They did help me not be able to smell it when it is closed. When it is open it is still bad but it does help. So it is not perfect but to me it is worth it.

While I do agree there is a need for these and I would say it's an improvement on the odor I don't understand the use/ delivery of function. If you place in the bottom of diaper can the bag instantly covers it up and blocks all air. These need to clip at the top under the bag holder. Others mentioned there still an odor and yes this doesn't magically remove the smell.

They do help with the smell, diapers are sooo stinky and these have helped a lot. They don't get rid of the smell 100% but they definitely help, I no longer hate taking the bag of dirty diapers out and putting in a new one.

A must have for the ubbi pail to keep smells minimized. I also paired with the carbon filter in the lid. One Lasted about 3 months before I had to replace, so that was nice. Smells better than the standard ones that you can pick up at the market store, those ones always remind me of a gas station bathroom.

These did not work for us. I had high hopes since we use a diaper pail, but I didn’t notice much of a difference in controlling odor. The lavender scent is there at first, but it doesn’t seem to last or actually mask anything over time. I still noticed the same smells as before using them. They may work better in a different setup, but for us, they didn’t make enough of an impact to keep using.

Works like charm! My ubbi diaper pail was smelling so bad. Found these on Amazon prime day and gave it a try. It got rid of the smell and also give a faint scent of lavender!

I can't believe I spent the first 2 years of my child's life completely oblivious to the existence of this product. Let me tell you, as a parent your nose never quite gets desensitized to the foul odour of poop, especially once your kid starts solids. Trust me when I tell you that YOU NEED THIS if you don't want your nose to be violated every time you open the diaper pail. This magical item, which I'm convinced some mystical fairies created because it's out of this world, sucks up all the stink - like, it's GONE (until you have to actually change the bin bag). I'm coming up on 4 weeks with 1 cartridge and it's done a fantastic job so far, but I can sniff out that it's time to replace it. Don't even bother buying the Arm & Hammer Munchkin versions because they stink (pun intended). Definitely one of my top 3 must have baby/toddler items!

These do a great job of hiding the horrifying nappy bin smells, particularly for the first few weeks of popping them in. I do wish they lasted a little longer so it's always worth buying these when they're on offer as otherwise it gets a tad expensive. Lavender hides and somehow neutralises the baby poop smell rather than half mask it.

The idea is great but honestly it makes the smell worse. Lavender and poo isn’t a good combo. We stopped using it

Our SIL lent us her Ubbi pail but it wreaked after being stored closed for a couple of years. I cleaned it throughly, and then when we started using it…man, it would stink up the baby’s room, and start to linger throughout the house (very very foul smell lol). We discussed buying our own new Ubbi and starting with a stink-free one but I think they all likely start to stink fairly quickly be/c of the enclosed space. Enter these - wow, they actually work! I haven’t used it for a month yet so can’t share if they last that long, but I will keep buying these! Also PS. We started with the rival brand (DG) but the Ubbi pail is honestly a way better product - we aren’t shoving our hands down the DG trying to get the diapers to go down to the bottom of the bag anymore. Ubbi pail and these deodorizers are the cat’s pajamas!!
