for iPhone 8 Case Heavy Duty Metal Shockproof Tough Armour

I have 2 family members that have very bad luck with phones .... and so they get to have this case. It is heavy. It's all aluminum around the perimeter, rubber on back and in choice areas, etc. Screen protector is integrated into the case. I'd say the only real downsides to this is that the screen protector is not replaceable. It is also heavy. But if you are paying for the phone and the recipient of such is reckless or unlucky, this case will definitely save you $$$ in phone repairs. Nothing is completely foolproof, but this case gets pretty close. I've bought a few and I haven't found anything better.

So I’ve bought 3 of these for 3 different iPhones. I have not had another case that is this durable. It has saved my phone countless times. I am in the landscaping and hardscaping business and I am always dropping my phone on rocks, running over it with wheel barrows, getting it dirty, etc. the only thing I did to modify it was, pulling out the screen protector it came with and installing one that sticks to the screen. Though it isn’t technically water resistant now, I’ve found that the case fits so tightly that water splashes do not really make it past the case. Again, landscaper here, my phone has been sprayed by sprinklers and dropped in (shallow) mud puddles and NO damage. The paint does start to chip off and I’ve lost a few screws, but it comes with extra, just keep up with those. And for those of you that are go getters, putting a little locktite on the screws prior to installation pretty much cures this issue. But don’t put too much cuz you’ll never get the screws out of you need to open the case. Just the teeniest tiniest dab you can imagine will do it. Oh, one more thing, only downside to this case, because it’s metal, I seem to lose service when traveling before others do. I live in Austin Texas and can travel between Houston, Austin, and Dallas without issue, but when I get further out, I’ll lose service and my wife won’t. I don’t really mind that as I can swap to a different case for long distance travel.

I’ve had a good number of this style cases over the years: Pros- definitely shockproof, good finish, I like the fact that the back is just a rubber bar instead of a logo, case has little to no interference with Bluetooth/cell signal. Cons- Not waterproof (ear speaker piece is mesh, not plastic)… I’m not a big fan of the small chrome ring around the home button, but after having several of these cases, I understand why it’s there (adhesive that holds the touch-sensitive pad in breaks down over time and then they can come loose when cleaning). All that being said, I will likely buy this exact case again if I don’t replace my phone before I manage to trash this case.

This is a durable case looks great and modern. I have no doubt it will keep a phone safe in all conditions. Be aware it is a heavy case due to its well built frame. My only issue I had with this case is when on speaker phone the caller reports hearing themselves talk. I tested it out while the caller was talking I took the case of and the caller reported the problem went away. Overall I it is a amazing case suitable for keeping your phone safe in bad conditions and rough handling.

This is my third time buying this style case (2 for my iPhone 14 & 1 for my iPhone SE3) and I would buy it for any future phone as well. I don’t like the glass screen cover so I always pop that off and I does make the phone significantly heavier, but otherwise I could chuck this across the room on concrete and it’s fine.

I bought this phone case because my phone has a slight crack and I needed a new case to keep it from cracking further. I got this one because it was $15 and rather durable. The protectiveness is really good, but I have a couple issues. 1) the “vibe” button (silent) is not centered so when your phone is on silent the thing sticks out pretty far and get naturally turned back on 2) the screw stick out a bit and can make it uncomfortable to hold in certain positions 3) I haven’t had this case for a month yet and the rubber part is already becoming slightly loose. Not sure how long it will hold up :( 4) the home button has a weird extruding metal circle around it. It is annoying that it sticks out and it doesn’t feel great. 5) the speakers are covered up, but there are slots for the sound to come out. It doesn’t sound the best, but then again, having a bunch of protection has its cost There are only those 5 things which I don’t like / would change about this phone case. If you don’t think you’d mind most of those, I would recommend this phone case, especially for the price.

This looked liked a great product and was even picked as one of amazon choices. I like the sturdiness and how tough it feels. However it is not waterproof as given in the description and the button to flip the silence button on and off is incredibly impractical. It is very sensitive and even a simple reach for it in my pocket or putting it in my pocket flips the switch. Not only that but the touch screen is not very sensitive and sometimes I really have to push to get it to work. The sides also don't allow me to select certain numbers or letters due to my finger not been able to move far enough left or right due to the case been too close to the touch screen. I do not recommend this product at all.

I got this case for my husband, who works on heavy construction equipment. This case is a little heavier than most, but the protection it gives as well worth it. You do have to unscrew the frame to get the phone in, and then screw it back together. I guess that’s kind of the only downside, but the protection it has provided is worth it!

It’s awesome down side is that it makes my new iPhone se or any iPhone 6 sized phone into one bigger then an X-R without the case , plus side if you need to throw it at someone or something you will not be disappointed I’ve dropped mine several times and no damage to the phone

If it could work with all the casing on it it would be great... you can’t push the buttons when it’s all put together making this .. useless

Love this case very strong and durable. Touch screen works perfectly buttons and charger port in the exact locations needed

Very sturdy feeling. Feels like it should hold up well with everyday abuse.
