Good oil for a good price
It's difficult to rate oil but it looked good and the engine sounds ok with the new oil.

Excellent oil but leaking on arrival for a 2nd time.
Oil itself is excellent and worthy of 5 stars however this is the second bottle purchased from Amazon and the 2nd to arrive with the lid not screwed tightly and oil leaking into and through the box. Won't be buying from Amazon again or indeed online unless Shell start using a foil seal under the lid.

Great value quality 5w-40 full Synthetic
Very quick delivery Excellent value for money quality fully synthetic motor. 5w-40 suitable for use in UK climate winter and summer better choice than a 10w-40 meets BMW Longlife and VW PD and GM Dexos 2'requirements.

purchase of oil
The oil is as described, I havn't used it yet - it's for my boat!

High quality oil but difficult to pour
My Nissan Qashqai eats oil - as did all of them, and this Shell HELIX HX8 5W-30 product lives in the car boot. But trying to pour it into the oil filler neck is impossible without spillage over the engine. There should be a better spout design to enable direct pouring.
