This is a good product for my often aggressive (territorial) OE sheepdog. This muzzle creates a mental barrier that keeps her much more calm during walks and also keeps here from nipping at smaller dogs (because of the restriction from opening her mouth). I also like the ease with which I can detach it (using a single hand while controlling my other dog with my other hand). I find the 'oxen style nose ring' leash attachment very effective in keeping her attention and keeping her out of trouble with a quick pulse of the lead. One big improvement for me would be if it could be better ventilated possibly making it out of different material or including vent holes. Every time I walk my dog the muzzle becomes saturated with drool and also appears to restrict the dog's breathing the wetter it gets. This 'saturation' also creates a problem with cleanliness and odor (hand washing only helps somewhat and temporarily). Still a great product (and did I mention the cost is easily ~$20-30 less than the next equally effective muzzle--I consider the 'cage type' devices in this category).

I am still trying to figure out how to keep this secure on my dog. It fits snuggly, but my dog can easily take it off. There is another strap and buckle on it, but I'm not exactly sure how to use it and don't like practicing on my dog. Would be nice if it came with instructions to show me what I should be doing.

I work with rescue Rottweilers and have been looking for a sturdy muzzle that doesn't look like a Hanibal Lector mask. I have a reactive female who is unpredictable in her reactions to other dogs and humans. We are working to socialize her but do not want to put her in a situation that she will do something inappropriate. This muzzle is soft and allows her to open her mouth to lick and pant, but does not allow her to nip. It has an adjustable velcro closure with strap around her muzzle, a clasp that fits behind her ears, and an additional strap that clips around her collar. there is also a ring on the muzzle to attach an additional lead for more control. I al pleased with the product and it's quality and construction. It will allow us to get her out safely.

Works great! My Cattle dog responded well to my putting it on after he wouldn't stop barking, got into the garbage and chewing up things that weren't his toys.

Easy to use and fits well. Don't over exert your dog while wearing.

Pay attention to "grooming muzzle". This does not work for my particularly destructive dog. She was able to get the muzzle piece off and proceeded to destroy several curtains (5 windows in all), knock over a bag of rice, loose tea, a lamp, and the settee,

This muzzle is easy to adjust and seems comfortable to my dog for training purposes only. It helps her to focus on training during distractions. I don't need it often but when I do this works well.

I like the way it fits and adjusts to our dog but I did expect it to be made a bit better.
