Secure Leather Mesh Basket Dog Muzzle #16 Brown - Great Dane, Saint Bernard, Mastiff (Circumference 15.5", Snout Length 4.5")

I purchased this muzzle for my mastiff. It fits him perfectly and is very secure. The first few times I put it on him he tried getting it off but he wasn't able to. The leather is strong but soft so it doesn't hurt his face. There are many rivets holding it together, which gives me comfort knowing that if somehow one broke, the others would keep it together. I chose this muzzle after hours of researching every muzzle for sale on here and reading reviews here and on other sites. I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

We got Marvin (brindle male English Mastiff) a year before 'rona, and with the shelter-in-place suddenly we were stuck with a pandemic puppy who is afraid of everything and very protective by trait :(We started with a different type of muzzle for him (plastic basket) by recommendation, which seemed very uncomfortable, didn't fit his jowls properly, and wouldn't stay on his head. With this 'Bane' like leather muzzle, I love that it's softer on him (unlike the hard plastic basket that stuck out and he'd try to get off with his paws), fits his snout better, holds his flappy jowls inside, and the best part: has a leather strap that secures to his collar on the back of his head too. That is such a game changer - now I no longer worry that it will fall off from the front of his face (this happened to the basket muzzle since it was only latched on him by the collar on the front of his neck).We've had this for a month or so now, and we've used it a few times, so far so good! Now the scaredy-dog-alligator shouldn't be able to chomp, hopefully! But we haven't seen him use much force on it yet... (since we're working with a trainer right now to fix his confidence issues) Fingers crossed!!

It fit okay, a little small for my 120lb male Great Dane. My biggest complaint is that the muzzle smells like rodent urine right out of the packaging. It is getting washed. The leather is raw so it soaks up the moisture from his mouth, he only wore it for 2 minutes.

This is a good, solid muzzle, it was too small for our XL Mastiff so we returned it. However if it were a little larger we would have kept it. Easy return and very well made.

It's too small for a male Saint Bernard, the collar needs at least 5 inches to fit properly. In the description says Saint Bernard and is misleading

This muzzle seems to be a comfortable fit for my Mastiff to wear. He is able to breath with no difficulties, it is easy to put on and it keeps others safe while out in public. It also is soft enough to where it doesn't leave bruises on me when he rubs up against me like the harder muzzles do. Certainly would reccomend it to others.

Too small for my Great Dane.

Good quality, i have a 140lb Cane Corso. We measured her at 14 by 3.5 and that was too small from someone else. We ordered this one & she has room to eat through her muzzle & pant, the other was too tight. She can get this one off as well. She’s not a fan of the vet so it’s best to get her a leather good muzzle she can’t easily take off.
