Way better than I figured, great sound quality.
I bought these for my son to use in his room. I set them up and tested them with spotify from my phone first. I was blown away by the sound levels available and the clarity and completeness of range. No joke - its amazon basics. My expectations *were not high*. But I was pretty shocked at how good bass response was from not a very large sub box, and moreover the sound quality from the desktop towers really put a smile on my face. These have bluetooth and 1/8th inch headphone jack connections and come with all the cables you need. These aren't dorm room blasters, no, but I'd put these up against any of my old Logitech Z series systems any day. Let's see if they hold up to teenager use.

Great sound for the price
Very impressed with these speakers - loud as you want and very clear, unmuddied sound. Subwoofer delivers booming low notes and main speakers do a great job with the midtones and highs.Subwoofer just fits under my desk and main speakers are small enough to disappear just behind the monitor..My only real complaint is the little input/volume/bluetooth control puck. It connects to the subwoofer with a fixed cord, somewhat limiting the placement. Putting the subwoofer under my desk gave me just enough length to reach the desktop. I would have preferred another couple of feet on it. The cable going from the subwoofer to the main speakers is similarly short, but you can put an extender cable on it.Minor quibbles for my installation, YMMV.

wasn't expecting z5500 quality
If you wanted a Logitech you should've bought one. These are ok. I have a logitech z5500 and X-530. far from the sound quality of either but cool thing i liked about these is that it was bluetooth. I had no expectation that these would be great. it was either these or a crappy sound bar without a sub that only had maybe 20-30 watts. I went with these. One of the reviewers had mentioned the bass knob on the back is either no bass or all bass. lol i thought he was bs-ing, nope. But i'm fine with it. It's hooked up to a cheap mini projector in the backyard. haven't got it to work via bluetooth with the projector (it paired but no sound) but works good with my phone, with the aux line into the projector, it worked ok. I'm content with these for now.

Worked until return window was up, then fried itself.
The speakers worked well for two months and then began shorting, causing constant white noise even if there is no audio input. Resistors r10 and r11 are flesh searingly hot and smell like the soldering is melting when the device is receiving power. Device shuts itself off when connecting via bluetooth. Completely unusable at this point. Of course it breaks itself almost exactly when the return window is up.The issue persists when all that is plugged in is the AC power. The subwoofer will spit out white noise generated from the controller shorting power. Tried cleaning all the contacts, checked for cracks in the chip, cleaned the connector pins for the subwoofer wire, no dice. Shame to have to throw this away after just 60 days of use. Amazon Basics really are a crapshoot, sometimes the products are fine, other times they are literal garbage. This is one of the latter.

Amazing Product work alright
This Speakers were a great buy. It works, it sounds good, Bluetooth does work on it. I noticed I sometimes had issues connecting the Bluetooth up to my computer, but I also power them off at night before bed and when they aren't in use for long periods of time. It's just not great at reconnecting back up. But I was able to plug it in directly to my computer and that works great. I am happy I am actually looking at how I can connect it to my TV now. Also the Bluetooth connectivity is still amazing if I want to connect it to my phone

They're just... Ok.
Decent set of bookshelf speakers. I'm using them for a budget home theater setup with a projector. They're attractive and low profile. Couple of improvement areas I've encountered. The bass control knob goes from off to a mid level of bass, there's no gradual increase. The bookshelf speakers have uncovered and vulnerable cones, so be sure to put them somewhere safe. The construction is noticeably flimsy to boot. The Bluetooth function works and is easy to connect. Bluetooth and volume are located on a corded dongle with a decent amount of wire. All in all not a bad budget speaker set, but I'd choose some logitech speakers next time.

Poor sound, bad wires, but hey, nice little puck thingy
If you can get past the fact that the sound quality from these is quite poor (Where oh where has my middle range gone?), with either booming bass or tinny treble, but no middle ground, then...Well then, you realize that the wire design is quite bad, too. Sure, it looks like you could put the subwoofer on the floor, and the speakers on your desk. Yeah, it looks like it, but the wires are actually several feet short of being long enough for that! Oh, and the wires between the little speakers aren't long enough to get any decent separation on your desktop, in fact they're barely long enough to put one on either side of your monitor! But the little puck thing, that's actually quite handy. It allows you to turn the speakers on and off, to put them in bluetooth or wired mode, and to adjust the volume. It's just a shame that it's attached to such a bad speaker system.

Best speakers for phone, pc, pad - excellent sound quality
When I think of the benefits that the digital revolution has given us I think of the ability to listen to your music anywhere with excellent sound quality. These speakers are awesome. The bass speaker booms out with a richness that you can feel in your chest. The sound quality is akin to a much more expensive sound system. I would buy these speakers even if they cost twice as much. You can plug in the AUX cable into a phone, a laptop or a pad. These do not disappoint. Get them.
