This bolster is perfect for anyone looking for a portable bolster, or anyone who might be petite. I’m 5’4” and find I am using this a lot more (with blankets and/or blocks) to customize poses than traditional sized bolsters. Great quality, too.

Simply put, this is an awesome bolster. It's of high quality and feels quite supportive without being either too firm or too soft. I use mine for both yoga and meditation.Also, there is no nasty smell upon delivery... sadly that is a point of relevance when buying products often.

This bolster is exactly as advertised. It is very firm with no sense that it will compress anytime soon. The cover is sturdy and will withstand a lot of use. I need to support my tail when I sit on the floor, not just doing yoga. It is perfect for that and it looks nice too. I'm impressed with this product and will try Bean Products again in the future.

This bolster is the perfect width and height for opening my chest for breathing exercises and for stretching my spine. I also like the stretch for my chest and shoulders after a long day typing. The only con is the height and firmness hits my hip lumbar region a bit harshly however now that I’ve used it three times I can tell it is already squishing a bit in that spot.

This was beyond my expectations and I couldn't be happier. The firmness and size are perfect for my needs and I know I'm going to get a lot of use from it. The cover is sturdy. Not thin like another bolster that I had ordered from another company and sent back.

The only thing is that is it smaller than I really need but I shall keep it as I just do not have the time to return it. Other than that it definitely is worth purchasing.

The fabric cover is thick and high quality, and has a nice weave texture. Filling is quite firm, so ideal for a bolster. I am very happy with it.Plus - it is made in Chicago USA, so I am happy to be supporting this business.

The studio I practice at uses the round bolster (height is 9"). I find that this height can open my back too much too fast, so I chose to buy the pranayama bolster (height is 6") to ease my way into my first posture in yin yoga (the reclined butterfly) and then pop a couple of 3" cork blocks for added height once warmed up. Furthermore, this bolster has just the right amount of firmness (no sagging), and is supportive for other poses such as the reclining twist and restorative heart opening.

I am so pleased with the Pranayama pillow. I got it in today and am already using it. I needed something firm enough to keep some pressure on my spine/lumbar area. I am so in love. I know I will use it everywhere. It is so comfortable. I bought a round buckwheat cushion from Bean Products not long ago, and it was as well built as this one. The stitching is flawless and they are built to last. The best part, it's washable. Quick prompt service, and reasonably priced. I will buy their products for any furtur needs.

I got this pillow, not for it's intended purpose, but as a pillow to put between my legs as I slept as my physio therapist said I needed support the whole length of my leg. This Pillow is the perfect size for that purpose. It is soft enough to not be uncomfortable, but firm enough to support my upper leg fully. I slept with it one night and the pain that I'd had from my impinged hip for several months wasn't there in the morning. It was also firm enough to use as an aid for the stretches I was told to do, that required some support under my knee. But the best part is that it is pretty heavy, not to heavy just solid, so it stayed in place. I could even roll over without having it move.It is well made, well stitched, and high quality fabric cover. I'm sure it would work very well for yoga, since is worked so well for my physio stretches.

I was having a hard time envisioning the size, and was looking for a bolster to do some restorative yoga poses (laying onto the bolster that’s propped up by two yoga blocks at 45 degrees) and his is perfect! It is surdy enough to hold my head in place!
