Have an old Lexus LS430 that looks like new still, but the key fobs both were suffering from the weakness it seems was built into them. They ALL eventually crack right by the tiny screw hole that holds the 'clamshell' together. (What a lousy setup Lexus!!) Instead of buying more key fobs from the dealer, or walking around with tape holding them together, I gave this gizmo a shot. It slips on easily, and fits quite snug. This holds the two fob halves together perfectly, and all of the functions work just fine without any undo tricks required to engage the buttons through the silicone sleeve. For the cost I feel this is a worthwhile way to get yourself out of the broken Lexus key fob camp, at least for a couple of years anyway. No complaints at this point, but will report back if some inherent weakness appears.

Pretty good option for protecting the plastic stock key FOB housing from unnecessary damage. Whatever plastic Lexus uses for the key FOB housing doesn’t last very long, becomes brittle and breaks apart. This silicon “skin” slides over the stock key and fits pretty snugly without deforming or tearing. It doesn’t interfere with key use in any way either. For the price it’s definitely worth buying, even if you have to replace it after a few years. Pros: Fits snugly, doesn’t interfere with key use, lasts a long time, price vs. replacing plastic key housing at dealership ($65), button layout & labels on silicon skin match stock key FOB correctly, oval opening on Lexus symbol side of key displays logo entirely Cons: Silicon skin stretches slightly after about a year of use but doesn’t affect performance of key, the silicon skin is an absolute DUST MAGNET and will collect whatever in your pocket/purse it comes in contact with (easily wiped off), dirt/lint eventually gathers under the silicon skin mainly around the button area and cause issues when you press the buttons (fixed by removing skin from key and rinsing out)

Key fob looks good now, and a bit more water resistant. Rubber feels good. Lets see how long the color print lasts.

This was a perfect fit and had great button placement/markings for my 2006 Lexus RX400h key. I've replaced the flimsy hard plastic cover a few times between the two keys, and each time I hated it. When it broke yet again, I wasn't going to go through that rigmarole again, so I chose this one. Love it. It feels great in the hand, is easy to identify if I'm rifling through my purse, and the button markers are clearer than on the original key. It slid on easily and I haven't had any issues with it slipping around or getting loose, though it is fairly new.

Purchased for 2005 GX470 key fob. Overall quality is good, fits nicely, and is soft-touch rubber. The labels on the cover don’t align to the labels on the case.

This rubberized case protects the old plastic cover, has detailed writing for each button (solves the issue with worn out buttons), adds a bit of thickness and the back is open (in a round/oval shape) to display the logo.

Quality looks good, but the one I receive do not have opening at back for Lexus logo. This is all flat from back side.

Does not fit a Nissan pathfinder 2008 key
