Mimi LCD Display Touch Screen Assembly Replacement for iPhone 4S + Tools

I am pleased with the purchase of this product. It felt like a shot in the dark based off of the reviews, but I wonder if some of it has to do with how the users went about replacing the old screen. There are several small screws and at any point in the process it would be very easy to accidentally knock off a small diode from a circuit. I found the packaged screw drivers to work perfectly for all of the tiny screws except for the two flat head screws holding the main board in.The screen that I got is crystal clear and bright. It certainly was much better than the broken screen but that goes without saying. There were some small and not very noticeable scuff marks on the outer plastic rim of the screen. It's not something you would notice unless you're holding it right in front of your eyes. I'm not worried about it. It's an older phone and this new screen for such a cheap price will make it last that much longer.If you're still reading, the only thing left that I can add is to watch some videos on youtube before you set out on this adventure. There are a ton of things that you will be taking apart. You will want a clean surface and no distractions / wind so you can set all the tiny screws out in an order that you will remember exactly where they all go. Good luck!

I purchased this to repair a Verizon (white) iPhone 4S. While the toolkit is lacking (mostly in that I needed a 4.8 mm flathead to help remove the logic board, a spudger with a narrower tip, and tweezers), I had a Pro Tech Toolkit I had gotten via iFixit earlier so I was able to finish the repair without issue. Overall, I was able to replace my phone's display assembly successfully using the guides available via iCracked (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fujLMaxJsw) and iFixit (https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iPhone+4S+Display+Assembly+Replacement/7277).After installation, touch screen was responsive and front camera wasn't blurred or anything. Front panel coloring wasn't as white as my original phone, but still pretty good.

This purchased saved me about $170. I bought this repair kit and with no previous experience WHATSOEVER was able to completely replace my cracked iphone 4S screen (following this guide: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iPhone+4S+Display+Assembly+Replacement/7277). I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone who broke their iphone screen. It has all the tools you need, and the replacement screen/digitizer works great! Iphone works like new , screen looks great. So glad I didn't pay the Apple store $200 to replace my phone. Thank you!!

Not that good when i was installing it the screen crack very easyly the screen has an look to it like if u look at it from the side the screen is bearly visable this product is not that good the screen ended up geting lines in it for no reason i never droped it one day the screen just went white and now i have to buy an new screen

Screen is good, 2nd time i've replaced the screen on the iphone.. tools are terrible and it doesnt not include a philips head small enough for install.. I was hoping the tools would be of better quality..screen works great..

Works great. I followed the instructional video online since it doesn't have much instructions come with it. The tools are great. I brought other package from Aliexpress and these tools feels better than the ones from China. This package doesn't come with screws but the ones from Aliexpress does. Therefore, be sure to keep your original screws and parts. The screen feels like the original, and the operation works good.

The process of installation is easier than people make it out to be. I installed this screen and it worked for about 30 minutes before it began to get a white haze and streaks (the screen was otherwise perfectly functional). I immediately ordered a different branded screen and installed it, I have had no problems with it. I am not giving this screen 1 star because the tools that come with it are better than the other replacement brands I have used. I most likely was one of the unlucky few to receive a bad egg, but you have been warned that this is a possibility.

Good quality parts and tools, but NO HOME BUTTON. Supplier has updated photo to be more clear. To be fair it 'no home button' was listed in description.UPDATE: Supplier went above and beyond to help this customer, unsolicited and generous. Vendor was calm, courteous and polite even while I was not.Vendor now my first choice. Thank you!
