Universal Mount for Sports Radars

The first picture is this product. I tried it out while my daughter practiced pitching. It worked well and was easy enough to set up with the tripod and battery pack. If you’re just using it for bullpen the way I did, it’s great. I use a Mevo camera to live-stream my daughter’s games. I also run Game Changer and recently learned how to incorporate Pocket Radar. (Very cool, in my opinion!) I found a fence mount with dual arms that will hold the Mevo camera and Pocket Radar (second picture), so I’m returning this one. *Nothing wrong with it, it just didn’t fit my needs.

Works perfectly for holding my battery pack and Pocket radar. They easily clasp onto the fence and stay in place.

The mount has very good quality retentions springs, the plastic is thick, and the swivel seems sturdy. With few options on the market, this is the obvious choice. The only reason for the 4 stars is the price. It's a little steep for what it is. Now, capitalism being what it is, I don't fault the manufacturer or seller but I do believe that this could be duplicated for much cheaper. Pros: Quality of springs, swivel, and jaws Cons: Could be duplicated for much cheaper.

Although this mount is advertised as a Pocket Radar accessory, it can also be used to mount your iphone (or any phone for that matter) to the fence to stream baseball games via Gamechanger or any other game tracking/streaming app. I bought 2 of these to mount my Pocket Radar Smart Coach and also my phone to the fence and it has worked incredibly well. Well worth the price not only for the versatility but ease of use.

Original item was returned for replacement, because it was obviously an open, previously returned item. The original packaging was included but the item was just loose in the shipping envelope. 5 stars because an unopened replacement was shipped and arrived within 2 days.

I purchased this product for my Pocket Radar to use with my phone as I have a smart coach Pocket Radar. I was tempted to make my own because I did feel this was a bit over priced at $50 Canadian however for the simplification of use I highly recommend it. It fits perfectly on most standard tripod mounts (shoes) And I have no problem fitting my pocket coach along with my phone to record the radar at the same time. Would recommend.

Product is good for intended use but at $113, it is way overpriced. I have seen it as low as $15, after I purchased of course. Shop around.
