Suits my basic ironing needs.
I live in a small convertible apartment with very little storage space. I am a white collar professional guy who wears dress shirts and pants quite often, and generally need to do some light ironing on my clothing before I wear it. Everything that requires ironing that I dress in gets drycleaned and hung in a closet (not folded) so heavy ironing is not typically needed. This is my iron: Panasonic NI-S300TR 1200-Watt Steam Iron with Curved Titanium-Coated Soleplate, White/GreenNotable benefits:* This board collapses and expands nicely. When collapsed it fits well leaning against the wall in my closet and is hassle free to expand and collapse.* The hanger area on the end (shown expanded out of the non-rounded part of the board in the photos) pushes in and out nicely.* Sitting on my dining table, the board is very stable when I'm ironing. (This is my dining table: Winsome Wood Black and Chrome Pub Table)Possible concerns:* Other reviewers have noted that this board warps over time. Mine is relatively new and I have not noticed any warping but will update this review if it does.* I have not tried hanging many clothes on the hanger end of the board as they go straight into my closet when I am done ironing - based off how heavy your clothing is, there may be some tipping danger here.Bottom line:If you have light to moderate basic ironing needs and live in a small space, this board can do the job well and can be easily stored. For the price, well worth it.

Suits my needs.
I'm so glad I finally got one of these. A towel flung over the coffee table just doesn't cut it. It's a perfect size, sits right on my dryer, and seems sturdy enough for the job, though I wouldn't trust much more to it. I also love that it's small and relatively portable--don't have to lug out one of those huge boards that feel like they'll topple easily. There may or may not be better ones out there, but this was a good price and qualified for Amazon Prime, and I'm quite happy with it.

great for someone in a small space
The best thing is that it folds flat and can be kept in any room for touch ups. The iron bay at the end stores underneath for space conservation when not in use, but when in use it creates a safe and stable place for that ever-so-hot iron. I consider that option as an excellent safety feature. Extra padding would be good, and I do add padding to all of my boards. It makes ironing a nicer experience and eliminates the possibility of getting a "waffle" pattern pressed into your garment. This tabletop model is well worth the money, which was a real bargain, in my opinion.

Folds away into my closet, and is large enough for my dress shirts
Polder Tabletop Ironing BoardI just don't have enough space in my house for a full ironing board, so I gave this compact tabletop board a try. It is sized just right to hold a men's dress shirt. Instead of metal, it uses a wooden platform with a cotton cushioned cover. The cover looks yellowish/white and dirty, so I kind of wish they used a different material to improve the appearance. The metal stand is easy to fold out, and once I am done with the board, it tucks away into my closet without any fuss. If you do a lot of ironing or require frequent ironing of trousers, I'd recommend a larger board.Overall: 5/5 stars, great price, compact as advertised, and works perfectly for ironing my dress shirts.

Will not stand up
I was excited when I got this mini ironing board. Thought it would be perfect for my sewing room. It won't stand up on it's legs. It collapses every time I try to use it. When I used my mister on my iron to dampen something I was making a die under the cover of the board bleed though and stained my item. Then one day it broke into. I have only had it a year. It sits in the corner not used.

Works, a bit flimsy
The ironing board does what it is suppose to do. It works well sitting on my bed or table and I feel is big enough for my clothes. The rack that is supposed to let you set the iron down doesn't really work for two reasons. 1. It is flimsy and doesn't really want to hold it very convincingly. An iron is a hot object and I kind of want to make sure it is not going to fall and start burning the table or bed. 2. If you have a heavy iron it feels like it is going to topple over at any moment.Folds away nice and slides under my bed. For the price and free shipping, can't complain!

Perfect for quilting
Love this quality tabletop ironing board in my sewing room! I can place it conveniently near my machine where it is within arm's reach for repeated seam pressing when machine piecing my quilt tops. And when I'm not using it and need more tabletop to do other crafts, it stores easily in a small space on the side of one of my cabinets, whereas a full size board would not. The padding is perfectly fine, but I chose to buy an additional cover to make my ironing experience "luxurious" :-)
