Okay so, this product is good for African-American hair. I don't like it for the skin because it's too hard, and you have to microwave it for a few seconds first to get it to the consistency of softness. My face feels clogged, this scent is not great. Don't use this before you go out only at night. One other thing, it will mess up your sheets.

Beware of the misspellings on this product. The product on top is correct. The bottom product is incorrect. The bottom product is the newest order that I’ve received. It has 3 misspellings on the product and also a picture on the right side center. They even spelled “Crispy Product” with “Chrispy Product” instead. The product on the top is distributed by Ghana. This new product on the bottom distributed by Chrispy Product. Please fix this ASAP! Thank you.

I have previously purchased Shea butter and loved the mild scent and feel of it on my skin. It was cream or off white. I purchased this 2-pack to save a little. However, this is very different from the ones I have purchased before. It has a different smell and is greenish, whether as is or melted. It actually smells like olive oil which I use a lot in cooking. Hence, I’m pretty sure that I was given olive butter. I’m giving it 3 stars since I still use it for my body and it’s moisturizing. However, olive oil is not known as non-comedogenic so I can’t use it for my face.

So I bought this to try on my natural hair. The first time I used it after washing my hair & my hair has never detangled that easily. I think I might have used a little too much since it was my first time using it, because when my hair dried I could see the bits of the Shea butter. So try not to use too much. But it definitely left my hair moisturized longer than anything else I’ve used.

Living in Florida, I found my skin was just not as soft as when I lived in the North. I started using shea butter and have found my stretch marks on my belly are lighter and my skin is the best it has ever been. The butter is hard. I take a little bit and rub it between my hands to soften and then it spreads well.

This is hands down one of my family go- to moisturizersIt’s baby safe , moisturizing , and easy to apply.
