Update: she was super scared if it at first but we left it out for her to get used too and even with her other water bowl out she prefers this one!:) just took a while to get used too:) we just left it out. Working great not issues!:)Came with extra filters, but idk what to do when they run out or when to replace.4 stars cause it's only been a day and I'll update how it holds up when it's been a bit, so easy to assemble, fingers crossed the cat likes it!

The fountain is silent and it has a pretty blue light. A few items were left out, so I let the seller know and received them in less than a week. Great service and the pets love it

Bought this fountain quite a while ago but I wanted to make sure it worked before taking the time to write a review. We initially bought this to use only if we were leaving town to make it easier for whoever agreed to care for her. So, it took a while before I felt like I had the information to write a review.This fountain works really well for us. Only one cat and she prefers it without the flower in it so it makes it even quieter and easier to clean. It does get louder as it gets emptier, but that makes sense as the water has further to fall. It is super easy to clean, unlike some others I have worked with. The red light is useful too - if the change in the noise level doesn't catch your attention first.My only word of warning is that you have to run hot water through the pump every so often. The pump stopped working one time, but simply cleaning it out with hot water did the trick. (Do not use soap of any kind!)

My cat loves/demands moving water (she loves the tub faucet). This fountain is to replace a different (and very popular) fountain that we had since 2013. In order to explain the benefits of this new fountain, I must explain how it differs from the old.With the old fountain, the water fell as a waterfall into a water bowl. Since the water surface was close to the floor, our cat began to paw at the water. Fur was starting to collect in the fountain bowl, and since the pump was adjacent to the water bowl, fur and gunk was also starting to accumulate in the pump very quickly. I didn't want her to get sick from re-circulating fur and filth, so I retired the old fountain and gave her a water bowl. She missed the water flow/movement, so she would tip over her water bowl (water all over the floor!) AND she started to drink out of the toilet--I absolutely needed to find a new fountain. After quite a bit of research, I replaced it with this Beacon fountain.We've had the new fountain about a month,, and my cat and I LOVE this fountain. The water is at shoulder/head height so she isn't as tempted to touch the water. Plus, the water is visibly moving over the entire top of the fountain; she sees that movement and doesn't have to make it move with her paw--no more water spills on the floor! And because the fountain is illuminated, the water flow is made obvious to her--even in the dark.The stainless steel top is easy to keep clean and the filters are easy to change. I like how the water is filtered before it reaches the pump, keeping the pump and fountain base cleaner. The base also holds a LOT of water, and it's easy to tell when the water is running low because the sound of the fountain gets a bit louder (it's very quiet otherwise). I'm not sure if the warning light on mine is working or not--it has run low but the light/fountain hasn't changed color. But that's the least of my concerns. The pump is very much like the one from the previous fountain, but because of the fountain design, this one is much easier to remove from the base.In deciding which flow setting (there are 3) to use for my cat, I only ran into one issue--removing the yellow center of the flower. I tried to pull it out, but that didn't work. You have to screw it out of the white stem. Nevertheless, we are using the fountain without the flower/stem as our cat prefers a gentle ripple rather than a falling fountain. Ultimately, it's a great fountain--clean and self-contained and well worth the purchase price.

I have two cats and both used the water fountain just fine. But, they get food on their whiskers and mouth area which gets washed into the water as they drink. The filter may be good for debris but it doesn't get the oils from the wet food, so the water doesn't stay fresh very long. The fountain requires just enough work to disassemble and clean that after 20 or so cleanings, I went back to bowls of water that I easily clean with each refill. Mechanically and design-wise it seems like a good product and the pump is impressively quiet.

Bought this automatic cat waterer to replace the one my cat currently used. It broke after just a year. I like this one as its round and has a light for him to see at night. It is extremely quiet unless its time to refill it makes a trickeling noise. It also came with 3 filters and a silicone mat! Over all satisfied for now, I hope it lasts!

I have had drinking fountains for my kitties for many years. This one is working well...quiet and kitty is using it. Plus it is pretty to look at. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

We love it! All of us are very pleased with this purchase. Don’t really notice a noise coming from it at all, all our kitties didn’t seem to either. They immediately started going up to it. Very easy to assemble. Just got it yesterday but decided to remove the center flower piece. Maybe if we had just left it in, kitties would’ve eventually figured it out. We have 3 kitties. They seemed somewhat a bit confused at how to drink or get comfy trying to drink from it with the flower attachment in. Not sure why, they’ll stand under a faucet & play in water, lol. After removing the flower, now they stand & guzzle water. They love the fresh, filtered, flowing water. Really pleased it’s helping them drink more water. It’s good for kitties kidneys, skin, hair, making sure they get enough water in their diets etc. Some might not have been getting enough water in their diet.. one sometimes has dandruff & bit more finicky with eating, mostly wants dry food. He loves to stand & drink from fountains. They all seem to love water more, drink more from the fountain.
