GOOD quality boots!! GREAT VALUE!!
Boots arrived very quickly, and were of good quality as expected. They seem to be well-made, and the soles are more flexible than I expected. They fit really well, too, as I wear 9.5 and that's what I ordered - - perfect fit. Plenty of cushioning inside, and are relatively light-weight. The last pair I had were just OK (Brahma's) for use now and then on the farm, but finally failed when one sole fell off (only glued on). Can't complain too much, as I had them nearly 8 years, but hope these Kingshow's stay together as long or longer. I've worn these for a week now and they are comfortable and look nice, but I usually just wear boots when working outside. I don't know how well they would work if I got them wet, as they are not advertised being waterproof. The soft leather smells good and looks nice, and the soles are a black knobby rubber with yellow inserts. So, for the money I just don't see how you can beat these boots.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
My husband wanted a pair of work boots to use for all the work inside & outside of our home. He needed something light weight, comfortable, durable, & something that could stand a little rain or spills without soaking through. We searched at every shoe store in our area!!! The ones he tried that were decent were either way overpriced or too heavy or just bulky & uncomfortable! When I found these, we decided to take a chance based on rating & price. BOY DID WE GET LUCKY! My husband wore these shoes for days afterwards b/c they were PERFECT! So comfortable & light that he enjoyed wearing them, even when he wasn’t working! He’s actually tackled a few projects over Christmas in his new, comfortable boots & that makes this wife VERY happy, too! Every time he puts them on, he says “Man, I love these boots!” Best purchase! And you gotta know that he tried on boots well over $150 & they didn’t come close to these! In fact, I think he agreed to order these, in the beginning, b/c he thought he wouldn’t find the “perfect” boot & might as well pay less! I am SO glad I bought the perfect Christmas gift! I got major brownie points, for sure! And he got the boots he’s been looking for, for a couple years!

Making Old, New Again
Impressed! Yes, I am picky with my shoes. For years, I didn't care, but now I do. I have not worn this style of book in 10 years. I have purchased and worn 'day hikers' synthetic materials and each and every case after 12 to 18 months of light wear they are done. Kaput, Finished, Over and thrown out. My last pair of day hikers barely made it 18mo. I would wear them for yard work and to work [office environment] on rain or snow days. A few weeks ago when I actually wore them on a hike, the sole separated on one shoe. Using the draw string on my jacket, I was able to finish the hike with both shoes. That evening I began to shop for new boots and yes I went back to the hikers. Like a life story flash back I was quickly reminded of all of the failures. broken plastic hooks, poor stitching, sole separation, and pealing pleather. So I began looking for the boots of my childhood and BINGO I am trying something 'new' and going back to the old. I like these boots very much and I have high hopes of a great relationship ;). Kingshow uses leather uppers with a rubber sole. It appears the upper is stitched to the sole. The lugs and hooks are metal and not plastic. Out of the box they are a bit stiff and will need to be 'broken in' I've been wearing them on my dog walks and they are breaking in very nicely. I've also sprayed them with a water repellent and I believe that has helped to soften them up. My foot stands between a men's 10.5 and 11. I ordered the 11 and they fit very well. I have room for a thick sock. It is October and so I will post an update this winter. So far, two thumbs up and a smile. 8) It is early December and I remain very pleased. Used some saddle soap and mink oil on them and that helped quite a bit with the stiffness.

this is a good and economical boots
I purchased this boots in Oct.2016 primarily for hiking purposes. This is not a steel toe boots, thus light in weight. My normal shoe size is 9 1/2 with normal width but I ordered one size larger because I wear thick wool socks when hiking. The boots fit me perfectly. Since this will be my hiking boots, I inserted a gel pad to alleviate the impact on my heels and knees. It worked really well after miles of hiking. I have worn this boots on level C (level A being the easiest), 9-mile hiking numerous times in upstate NY. It held up well when I had to scramble rocks going up/down. I have not worn this boots in rain so unable to comment on its waterproof feature. Also, it could be too hot for hiking in summer. In my opinion, this is a good and economical boots. I highly recommend it.

Inexpensive Adequate Work Boots
This stalwart generic work boot has been manufactured for ~15 years. You will find the exact design sold under various brand names (a unique brand logo is sewn to the tongue) and at varying prices. For example, Walmart sells this exact boot under their "Brahma" brand for less than $30, while Target sells this exact boot under their "Cherokee" brand for ~$35. So shop around. Quality-wise, I'm surprised by its decent construction. The steel toe box does it's job as expected. The leather shell and stitching hold up, resist tearing and abrasions, and do not become discolored over the life of the boots. The sole material is another story: it wears away quickly, which necessitates replacement. The insole is violently hard and essentially unpadded, which affects comfort and foot health--I ALWAYS use a padded insert, the addition of which admittedly--and unfortunately--drives the cost of these boots up by $15. Overall, this is an inexpensive functional toss-away work boot. If you need a work boot for extreme conditions, look elsewhere. For light duty, however, this generic work boot is completely adequate--with the aforementioned caveats.

These boots are made for,,,strolling, and walking, and working, and playing!
I found these boots to be exactly as pictured. They have a great finish, good for polishing if you like, or coating well with water resistant boot dressing. The boots are lightweight so that they feel good when you're wearing them, yet rugged and tough so that you wouldn't hesitate to walk across land full of boulders and thistles .I have two shops, one with a dirt floor and one with a concrete floor. They are as comfortable there as walking across the lawn. I find they give my ankles good support too. I have a small two acre mini farm. My dog is half foxhound and half pit bull. On the back of my land is a section with copperheads. He is quite good at catching them behind the head and shaking the life out of them. but the big, longer ones have him at a disadvantage. We hunt them together and I use a forked stick to pin them and stomp them until he gets them behind the head. I plan to buy two more pair. I can' t recommend them enough!

Boots fell apart in barely 5 weeks!
I purchased these 'work' boots for my husband, who sets tile for a living. In the photo, they looked similar to the KMart brand that we used to get, but when they arrived they were definitely not the same quality. The boots arrived on 5.13.20 and by 6.19.20 the sole on one of the boots was already pulling apart. Even if he wore them every day, 24/7, this would only have been less than 40 days. And since he doesn't work 7 days a week, and there were several days in that period that he didn't work, or wear the boots, at all, he probably only wore them maybe a total of 20 days or so. And now they aren't worth the cost to send them back! I don't know if the seller sees these comments and can do something about this or not. Because, of course, they fell apart just days after the 30 day return period with Amazon. I don't even know if Amazon will do anything about it. I hope so, but I am not going to hold my breath I definitely will NOT be buying this product, or anything made by the manufacturer, again.

Best boot I've owned
Right out the box, these boots felt like they were already broken in for me. There is plenty of toe space without it feeling cavernous. As for durability, my boots go through the ringer (steelworker) and the last pair of boots I had were Carolina brand. They lasted a whole 3 days before the leather started coming off the steel toe and 2 months before the soles separated from the rest of the boot. These beauties are certainly more durable than my previous boot, not so much as a scratch yet (albeit its been one week but lasted longer than any previous I've owned). Factor in they're around half of what I pay for boots typically and you've got a winner. Will be purchasing again
