I was having issues with a Ford 8N tractor that had a custom 6 cylinder engine installed. It seemed that the points just didn't want to line up well. I replaced the ignition parts with this kit and am very pleased with the way the tractor now starts and runs. Just be sure you buy the right kit for your application.
