Some performance issues on Netflix
**Update Below**I have been using this Optimal Shop mini Android stick for a couple of weeks now, and overall I'm reasonable pleased. The manufacturer sent me a sample to review, I promised as always only my honest opinion. The device comes with an HDMI extender for TVs where you can't plug it straight in, a USB cable and instructions.PROS- It boots relatively quickly and overall has a snappy interface- I had no issues at all with Youtube, Spotify my primary media apps.- It has full Google Play store compatibility and is integrated with android so that you can log in with your gmail and save a backup of the device- Has a USB port so that you can use a wireless keyboard- Charges using a standard USB cable, nothing proprietary- Has a MicroSD card slot, and I was able to play movie files flawlesslyCONS- Audio out is only via HDMI. Since I have a spare computer monitor in the bedroom as a TV and it doesn't have speakers, I can't route the audio to separate speakers- No bluetooth, so no other audio output or compatibility with bluetooth remotes/devices.- Wifi range isn't great. I have a wifi repeater in my apartment, so I have no issues, but it definitely doesn't pick up half of the networks that my neighbors have, and those come up fine on other devices...- **UPDATE** I am having serious issues getting Netflix to play properly, not just in HD but in standard definition also. It stutters and freezes. For this reason, it's going down to three stars.OVERALLIt's an okay android stick for the price. Netflix is near unusable, and for that I'm dropping it from 4 stars to 3.
