Ottertex Vinyl Fabric Faux Leather Pleather Upholstery 54" Wide by The Yard (Khaki)

Remodeled my living room and needed to recover the seat cushions of a bench to match the new grey leather furniture in the room. This faux leather material worked perfectly for this purpose. The seat cushions are attractive and look rich in color; advertised color was also consistent with description. Material was easy to work with and did not tear when I stretched it to make it snug on the existing cushions. Also, the faux leather was thick enough to mask the original color and texture of the original wool mauve color of the seats. This was mine and my mother's first time covering seat cushions and guests are impressed with the results. Delivery was prompt and packaging was good. I will be ordering more for other seats I need to recover. The price was also more reasonable than the prices I quoted at several fabric stores. I've attached a pic so that all can judge for themselves.

I ordered two yards of this red vinyl fabric. I will focus clearly on the product- the product is in fact red. And it is also vinyl. The product is what the description says it is - red farbic faux leather pleather upholstery. It was however wrinkled, and had permanent fold creases that did not and will not come out. The quality of this red vinyl faux leather pleather upholstery was not good. I was disapointed and have returned it. It does not delight me to give red vinyl fabric faux leather pleather upholstery only two stars however in light of the circumstance and it’s condition I have no choice but to rate red vinyl fabric faux leather pleather upholstery two stars.

no no no. vinyl yardage arrived less than 10 min ago and the second i got it out i was not happy.the brown i ordered was indeed on heavy backing, but the vinyl was so thin on the front, the weave of the backing was clearly visible frontside.the black yardage i ordered would have been fine except they folded and jammed both colors into a shipping bag so small ,making creases and cracks in the vinyl that will never come out...ever. Useless now.im sure cottons and canvas would ship well, but vinyl.... no ....cmon fabric people you know this as well.Fabric Wholesale Direct, spend the extra dime and ship vinyl and leathers on a tube.look somewhere else for product and material this was awaste of my money and time.

I saw some bad reviews about the way this is shipped making creases in the fabric but I thought I would take a chance. The fabric was folded so tightly in the package it completely ruined it. You cannot steam out these wrinkles, the pleather itself is cracked. The color and fabric itself is nice but I will be returning because it is useless like this.

Bought $80 worth of this fabric and I am so in love with it. The texture is smooth and leather-like. I am attempting to transform this older couch into a more modern couch for my YouTube room. Filming my process just in case this turns out good! I will add the video link a later time once I am finished!

i absolutely love the aesthetic if this faux leather. i used it to reupholster an art chair and it looks phenomenal. cleans easily. use caution tho, it does not agree with skin, i sat upon my lovely chair while wearing shorts for a few hours working at my desk. unbeknownst to me, my thighs had fused with the leather. no lie, i teared up a bit as i tore my bare legs from the seemingly innocent faux leather. wear long pants if u plan to sit on this fabric for awhile.

As to the quality of the material, I cannot comment as yet, because I had to immediately take it out to the shed to air out. This thing stinks like nobody's business. Smells like model glue, only 100 times worse. Assuming it ever stops smelling, I will update this review with more information later.

The fabric is of good quality but the color is a little darker gold than I wanted. It is more of a brownish than gold so be aware. I like to make things on my embroidery machine for our school but like I said it is darker and not the school colors. I do want to stress that the fabric is good though and I can’t wait to make something from it. Just a little disappointed with the color.
