I absolutely love this laminator! I have wanted for awhile, I seem to always come across things that make me think, "if I had a laminator...!" So I finally decided to get one!As expected, the options are nearly limitless, and it can be really overwhelming going into a purchase like this! I started reading reviews, comparing prices, looking at various specifications, trying to figure out what would fit my needs. I am a homeschooling mom, so I wanted this to be able to turn ordinary worksheets into reusable, dry erase worksheets! Also for protecting flash cards, and preserving artwork. I knew I wanted a machine that could do different paper sizes, and different thicknesses. The ease of this machine, as well as the 13" length appealed to me, the reviews were very good overall and the price was great!I must say, after using this machine a few times, I am very pleased with the quality! The laminations come out smooth and even nearly every time! Only twice I have sent the same page through and it came out slightly less than perfect . Both times I had three layers inside the pouch, and I expected it to take a second run through before sealing completely. After the second trip, each was great! I have had no problems at all with it thus far! It laminates at a great speed, when the sheet comes out the other it isn't warped or rounded, no bubbles, no funny seals. So far, I have only used the included sheets and I like them enough to have ordered more.I can't say it's necessary, as it's the only way I have used the machine, but I use a piece of blank, ordinary card stock underneath that which I am laminating, to be sure of a nice even, flat feed into the machine. It works great to keep the page (or pages) in place inside the laminating sheet as it goes through.I highly reccomend this laminator! It heats up quickly, stays hot throughout multiple pages, seals cleanly, and only takes up a small amount of space! The extra length is great for normal kid sized art pages (9x12, not the typical 8.5x11, it makes a difference when you least expect it!), and it also takes much smaller projects perfectly (also fed with the card stock underneath to keep it straighter!). Definitely try this laminator if you're looking for something versatile and less costly than some other brands!

My mom and I love this! Its small and so much safer than going to Kinkos and trying to hide what you are laminating from the in store security cameras.

I had been wanting a laminator for awhile even though I didn't think I'd use it that much. I just thought it would be great to have for those random times we would need it. I searched Amazon and other sites to find the best price and this one was the least expensive, by far, so I bought it and I bought the Apache 100 Pack of 5 Mil Letter Size (9 x 11.5") Crystal Clear Universal Thermal Laminating Pouches to go with it.Included in the box was the laminator, 20 laminating sheets (ten 5mil and ten 3 mil) and an instruction sheet. I have never operated an office machine easier than this one. You just turn on the power button. When the light changes from red to green, you're ready to rock an roll! You insert the laminating pouch, with your document inside and sealed end first, holding it firm and straight and feed it through the laminator. It comes out of the other side perfectly laminated and protected. It is important that you try to gently keep it straight as it feeds so as not to get any creases. I ruined a couple of the 3mil sheets because I didn't get it straight from the start and then tried to correct it, not so gently, but it was too late. I didn't have a problem with the 5mil I guess because they're heavier, I'm not sure. Once I got the hang of it, I no longer had problems with the 3mil anymore either.I never realized how much stuff I really needed to be laminated until I actually got my machine. We have laminated chore charts, our car rider numbers for my daughter's school, "remember to" signs for the kitchen and bathroom, school certificates, special pieces of my daughter's art, labels for kitchen and bathroom organization and I'm finding new things to laminate every day.I would definitely recommend this laminator for the price and the ease of use.Thanks so much for taking the time to read my review.
