ROCKYLynx Waterproof Snake Boot

Bought these for my husband and he raves about them. He has every item for hunting from all different companies and isn't afraid to return something if it doesn't meet his standards.He said these boots are:Very comfortableDefinitely waterproofEasy on and offGood tractionDefinitely recommend and would purchase again.

These are my third pair of snake boots and my second pair of Rockys. I found the quality and craftsmanship to be high. My other boots are a 9M and I ordered these in the same size and the fit is as expected. As my other pair of Rocky snake boots were water proof for the first year to year and a half before I had to start treating them I expect these will be the same. I get about 3 years out of a pair before the material in the flex area of the foot starts to wear out. I ordered the boots on Wednesday, they arrived on Friday. I live in western New York and snake boots are my go-to winter boot. I have worn this pair for ice fishing, snow shoeing and for work. I will also be wearing these for hunting and hiking year round. Because they can be laced up tight, when walking through deep snow it prevents snow from getting in my boots. With wool socks on my feet stay comfortably warm. I did have an issue with the boot bighting into right ankle but a little softening of the ankle area of the boot with a 2x4 and hammer seems to have eliminated the issue. (Shoe repairmans trick) I enjoy the fact they have both a zipper and speed lace hooks. It makes putting them on and taking them off very easy which I do 5 or 6 times a day when I wear them to work. You do have to be aware that there is a lot going on in the zipper gusset area so if caution is used when running the zipper up and down you shouldn't have a problem. I will definitely buy another pair.

Surprisingly comfortable.Only drawback, velcro at top of zipper needs to be a little longer.

The media could not be loaded.  These Rocky Lynx boots are "solid as a rock"! The fit, feel, walk, and hike of these is very good. As others mentioned, there is an initial pinch in the ankle area- at first. That will go away after a few weeks with this type of boot it's the tight fabric. I live in the high Rockies, and the soles are hard enough for walking on granite rocks. The boots are a little warm; since, they go all the way up to the knees. I just wear them for gathering firewood in the mountains and also in the desert here in Arizona. Definitely a great Prime Deals Day purchase!👍

Fit great and feel good

The media could not be loaded.  I liked the price point for these boots, but once again I’ve learned the lesson that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I was wanting to get the Danner “Sharptail” snake boots (I have had a pair of Danner work boots for 2 years now. AWESOME! Held up well and so comfortable) but I went with the Rockys. The first time I put them on the zipper snagged as I was pulling it up on the cordura fabric that was hanging out on the right boot, but it pulled past. I could tell this was due to poor stitching. I wore the boots for approximately 3 hours while clearing snake infested area of property. I came in to take them off and COULD NOT lower the zipper on that right side! I tried and tried, and after 20 MINUTES my wife was able to pull the zipper down with a pair of pliers!! I thought I was going to have to cut the boot off. POOR QUALITY CONTROL!!!! The cordura is clearly inhibiting the zipper. They were also so stiff they hurt my ankles. I understand that it’s tough cordura fabric and would take a long time to break in, but not sure these would EVER break in. Needless to say I will be returning and replacing with the Danner boots like I should have done in the first place.

Good snake boots, I like the fact I can adjust the laces for my leg. Then the zipper makes it easy to get on and off! No break-in time, I hunted in them the first day I got these boots!

More comfy than I'd thought they'd be. I wear them while hubby and I are in the woods/marshes/swamps here that are full of cotton mouths and other ill-tempered venomous snakes. I have NOT "had" to test them, praise God, but the boots lessen my concerns (but not my caution) for snake encounters.

Soy Rodolfo, hace un año pedí un par de botas del número 7.5 talla en México y me mandaron del 8.5, eras bastante grandes y las regresé, ésta vez las pedí del 6.5 y me llegaron del 7.5 por lo que me quedaron excelentes, probablemente tengan un problema con la identificación de las tallas para México, sugiero lo tomen en cuenta, Saludos!!!

Die Stiefel sind sehr ordentlich verarbeitet und fallen größengerecht aus. Einmal passend geschnürt, fällt der Ein- und Ausstieg durch den Reisverschluss sehr leicht. Auch der Übersee Versand ging super schnell. Kaufempfehlung.

These are fringing awesome!!!I order a size bigger to fit a waterproof inner just in case we have to walk through water at times.But for staying dry in the rain and ankle deep mud, not really test yet, so they could be fine.
