Shells: A Pop-up Book of Wonder

This book is so lovely, that I cant give it to my grandchildren yet, until they have understood how careful they must be when opening the pages. I keep looking at it myself, as it brings back so many happy memories of seaside holidays in the 40's and 50's when I used to spend hours looking into rock-pools, and searching for cowries on the beach in Cornwall and Devon. I think its a collector's book, to be cherished and handled carefully.

Absolutely incredible and intricate pop-up mechanism. A visual feast for all ages. Will need supervision for the very young as they may damage it unintentionally.

Purchased for young children to take on a beach vacation.
