Good FM and AM reception
09/04/2023: I needed to remove the fixed external antenna from my 2002 CR-V and wanted to replace it with an internal one. I bought a couple of different ones and this one was by far the best. The other one didn’t pick up AM at all and FM had some static. This one seemed better than the external antenna for FM, and AM was pretty good too. Installation on all these is pretty easy with just a plug in the back of the radio. I ran the wire across the dash by the window and then behind the trim on the A frame. Location didn’t seem to make any difference. Initial opinion is pretty good. Will see how it does over time. Made in China.

...was easy, cost just a few bucks and solved my problem.
I felt I should write a review since I wrote a very nasty but a well-deserved review about another supposedly dipole, hidden antenna that was a real piece of junk. Now, I do not know if this is indeed a real dipole because I would have to open it up to see if it indeed has a tuned circuit consisting of a coil and a capacitor (absolutely needed for an AM/FM antenna to shorten the necessary length) but I will say this, it did work for me - good enough. Plus, the antenna input cable, the DIN plug (DIN 41585 plug or Motorola DIN plug) met the physical standard, and its physical size allowed for a correct fit, not too tight nor too loose. My test radio station increased 2 bars in signal and overall sensitivity increased so success! Basically, it worked! And, it cost me only about $7 including tax. Moreso, it resolved a huge problem on my UTV as I could not find a good location for a monopole antenna, like a whip, as it needs a ground plane, so it needs contact with metal. I got lots of plastic but getting attached to the chassis, basically the roll cage, to an out of the way location running the cable into the cab was definitely a challenge given how the radio was installed originally (without an antenna). The dipole needs no ground plane so...I plug it in, stench the antenna out behind the radio in the console and it works well enough to get me a few tunes while I am plowing snow. Is it perfect? Nope. Is it as good as a monopole? Nope. However, it's a damn good solution and maybe it's simply because it is a long wire, not a real dipole, but do I really care as long as it worked. I don't. Install was just a few minutes, was easy, cost just a few bucks and solved my problem. Case closed.

It works great!
I am using an older Kenwood car stereo with AM HD in my garage and it works great. I needed an antenna to pick up radio stations and was easy to install. It works great and picks up all the stations clearly.

Works perfect and a fraction of the cost of the more cumbersome antennas
Antenna picks up way better than I imagined in my boat! Just plug it in and tuck it out of the way. Can't get any easier than that.

Small - easy to install
Installed. Did not pick up stations as well as my old antenna. (Thought my old one was broken.)
