I have been using the 5-HTP supplement for about a year now and with all the ups and downs that life throws, and all the prescriptive chemicals available it would be easy to become one of the undead. I've been having really bad issues with my sleep recently, where it'll take me ages to drop off and end up waking at 1 or 2 in the morning, unable to get back to sleep despite how tired I'd feel. I was sceptical to the reviews of these, as a lot seemed too hyped up, and I've tried other sleeping tablets in the past that didn't help one bit. However, I've been using these since Wednesday 14th Oct evening, and noticed better sleep from Thursday evening. I woke at 2am this morning (Saturday 17th Oct) but managed to go straight back to sleep. Even my husband noticed I'm sleeping better.They are very small tablets, so very easy to swallow. Can't fault them at all. I haven't noticed a taste, so I rated 5 stars as they arent horrible tasting. Definitely worth buying if you're suffering with your sleep.

c5-HTP has been one of the few things that have helped my mood and sleep. These supplements are good quality, with a well labelled bottle that was fully sealed on arrival. They are easy to swallow with water and have no noticeable taste. The dose here is good and about 30-60 mins after taking, I feel a bit more relaxed and I have noticed some moderate improvements to my sleep. It's important when using 5-HTP that you use it in moderation, don't mix it with anti-depressants and consult your doctor, as although 5-HTP is generally safe, it should be used safely with professional advice. This is a reliable brand and this is a good overall supplement.

So I think what makes this product work for some is the placebo effect but also because it promotes a sleeping routine.If you are ready to alter your sleeping habits and believe that this herbal pill will help you I believe it will do - it is effectively branded to convince you of its effects. However, if you're like me and struggle with insomnia and are at a stage where you'll try simply anything then this pill wont touch you. I believe it is a strong product and there's no harm in trying it, just for me it didnt have the desired effect.

I have fibromyalgia and as a result have little to no sleep. I've been taking Nytol for years and wanted to get chemical free. I saw the great reviews on these tablets and thought I'd give them a go.So glad I did!The first night I had less than an hours sleep all night.Second night I slept for 2 hours woke up, back to sleep woke up every 2 hours. Same 3rd night.Night 4 slept 4 hours woke then slept rest of night. Iv been taking them 10 nights now and sleep straight through no problem.I take 1 half hour before bed then I can feel my eyes drifting off while I'm reading.I wake up fresh as a daisy not groggy like I was on the nytol. Got lots more energy and I'm definitely more focused too.So pleased if got these tablets. Worth every penny. I bought this for anxiety and not for any sleeping problems. Initially took them just before going to bed but they kept me awake. So I changed, and started taking them first thing in the morning instead.I have been taking them for 5 weeks now and can honestly say that the frequent anxiety attacks definitely improved. The frequent 'waking up with anxiety for no reason at all' also subsided. After 2 weeks of taking one every morning my anxiety had improved enormously with only very mild symptoms now and again.So at 2 weeks in, I also ordered Vitabrite High Strength Maca Root with black pepper as reviews also said it was good for anxiety.So I am now 5 weeks in (5 weeks with 5HTP + 3 weeks with Maca Root) taking one tablet of each every morning. My anxiety has now completely gone. I dont know if I had continued with 5HTP alone if my anx would have continued to improve, but it certainly had a good effect. Makes me wonder about the anti depressants that I have been taking for years from the doctor. Maybe time to ween myself off these with medical guidance and just stick with 5HTP + Maca Root.I will definitely continue to take 5HTP + Maca Root and will order more when they run out.Wish I had found this years ago.

These have been an great product for me to try. They have helped me sleep due to the natural melatonin and reduced any feelings of worry and anxiety. I feel they have also helped improve my mood and helped me to feel less stressed. I started these as an alternative to antidepressant medication after the loss of my father which affected me greatly. I would say you don’t notice a huge difference at first, they take a few weeks for you to feel any benefit, I think they are a great alternative if you do not wish to receive a prescription medication and would prefer something natural. Assolutamente consigliato per la mia esperienza, posso dire che prima di tutto agisce on modo completamente diverso da sistemi tradizionali come passiflora, biancospino, camomilla etc..perché la griffonia agisce direttamentr sulla serotonina e il risultato è completamente diverso e permette di determinare un profondo rilassamento e un sonno intenso. In secondo luogo e non per ordine di importanza, il rapporto qualità prezzo! Avere una scorta per 8 mesi di un prodotto così eccellente é qualcosa che riscontro solo in questo caso. Ho aspettato l'arrivo del terzo flacone prima di scrivere, per poter dare una valutazione ponderata. Ora posso dire, dopo circa 5 mesi di utilizzo che per me è un prodotto veramente valido e senza effetti collaterali, che invece terapie farmacologiche mi avevano dato.Ho trovato giovamento soprattutto nella gestione dell'ansia, scatenatasi con la menopausa, e nell'autodeterminazione. Si è ridotto infatti di molto il senso di continua spossatezza e riesco a fare molte più cose nell'arco della giornata, persino dopo cena.L'insonnia non è migliorata di molto, mi occorre sempre, anche se in dosaggio minimo, un farmaco. In compenso, come dicono anche altre recensioni, frequentemente ho sogni vividi e prolungati che erano secoli che non avevo più!Prendo 4 pastiglie al giorno: una per pasto + un'altra a cena. Ho letto in una ricerca su HTP che si può arrivare a 6, ossia 300 mg di principio attivo, ma non voglio rischiare effetti collaterali.
