Part of a great system
As a professional photographer, I have way too many cameras. All of them have these same connectors which allows me to mix and match depending on what I am carrying on that particular assignment. They are a little fiddly to attach the first time, but after that they stay and have never let me down.

The secret to getting them thru very narrow strap mounts
These are great, been using them for years on all sorts of gear, including some fairly heavy stuff. It was REALLY hard to get them through the very narrow strap mounts on my new EOS R8 -- the trick turned out to be to thread some strong dental floss through first, then use that to pull these guys through.

Where have you been...I am glad I found you!
I am one of those people that generally won't waste my time writing a bad review. Therefore, my only reviews are typically four starts or better. Well with this product, it is one that once I got this I asked myself what took me so long to get this. I lug my camera around with me quite often. Sometime I will have several pounds around my next for hours and not take any pictures. just do not want to miss that special shot. I have tried a few camera strap systems as my neck and shoulder get sore sometimes and I knew there had to be some product that really would make this problem go away. The Op/Tech system, not just these uni-loop, is an outstanding product that really works. It is versatile, with easy adjustment, and quick to change out. The lock system is sure and secure. The web strap material is strong and well seated in the end clips. I also got Op/Tech Pro Strap and Wrist Strap. They both are extremely comfortable and secure. I change them out regularly during an outing and now remove my strap when I place my camera on a tripod. (Before I would tight it down in wind conditions) If possible, this is one of those products that I would give a 6 star as I do not get sore carrying all day and I can make changes to a wrist strap in seconds. Wish I had found this product years ago rather than spending so many hours being uncomfortable and so many hours seeking out a product that would offer the versatility. I am thankful that I did fine this.

Does the job for which it is intended
Well made, but a little tough to thread into the eyelets on the camera.

Great if you have more cameras than OP/Tech Camera Straps.
I frequently carry a heavy Nikon Camera & Telephoto combination and use an OP/Tech strap for camera safety. The camera is usually attached to a Cotton Carrier, but I've came close to losing the camera when it rotated to the release position. I also carry a second lighter weight camera lens combo, and can move the stap to that camera with a pair of attached uni-loops. I put uni-loops on all my cameras and depending the harness used, have OP-Tech camera tethers attached to the harness. I avoided dropping camera several times because of the safety tethers.

I don't use these just for the intended purpose
Each of my DSLR is equipped with these and I use typically the OP/TECH neck strap (very comfortable as neck straps go) or the wrist strap.Actually I took to using these to attach equipment to my camera backpack.I just decided to use the female one on equipment and the male one on any bag or gear I want to attach my equipment to. My photo backpack has two loose male connectors hanging from the top handle, making it easy to attach a light tripod or a monopod without even having to remove the backpack. All in all they are sturdy and small enough as to be unobtrusive when not used, unless you are considering using them for a compact.I never had one fail on me yet.I don't use them for my G15 - I just use a lanyard for it as I believe the connectors would get in the way.

Absolutely the best
I have purchased multiple sets of these for binoculars for hunting and they are the absolute best.

Video does not show this strap
I like the fastener but the video shows a flat webbing that is long enough to easily push the plug back thru the loop after it is fastened to camera. The one I received had a very short tubular webbing that was very difficult to push thru the metal device on my camera and after I got it thur the loop was too small to get the plug thru the loop. OP/Tech does not do a good job of labeling their parts with a part number so it is difficult to reorder or even compare items.
