Very pleased with my purchase. East to instal and working well. Put app on my ‘phone and very useful feature to be notified if alarm is activated when not at home. Thoroughly recommend.

This product was easy to install and setup. It worked well for the first coupleYears and integrated seamlessly with Apple HomeKit, which was the main reason for my purchase. However, these smoke detectors are meant to have a 10yr battery life in line with the intended lifespan of the device. The manufacturer has designed it so the battery cannot be replaced. I purchased 2 of these in Oct 2020 and the batteries in both have died less than 4 years on and the whole unit will now need to be replaced.

This was a replacement for my Nest smoke detector that had informed me that it was 10 years old and was no longer able to function! The Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarm fitting was easy and I was able to use the pervious fixing holes. The app was working very quickly, though I did need to enter the WiFi credentials.

This is a pretty good product as it could well save your life. I like that you can mute the alarm so if you are frying beacon you can turn the alarm off.

I bought five of these in February 2021. Three of them are now telling me that the battery is low.I have gone through all the configuration business again with each one to make sure it is not an error. All is okay with the app on my iPhone.Netatmo say the battery life is ten years, but the warranty is two years.You can't replace the battery so if battery life is four years, as it is on three of mine, then you'll see that these are very expensive indeed.

Easy to install and setup, looks a smart bit of kit and dose exactly what they said it would do. Only bought 2 to start with now I’m happy with them I’m going to o put more round my house

This smoke alarm was easy to set up & link to HomeKit. With it being natively supported by HomeKit you can link your lights, locks, blinds, ect to it for them to operate in the event of an alarm.Unfortunately tho the cons outweigh the pros.Firstly the build quality is pretty poor.These can’t be interlinked together.The audible alarm is quite low.And there is no carbon monoxide detection.Compared to the nest smoke alarm that’s only £20 more this is rubbish.The nest can be interlinked, has carbon monoxide detection, loud siren, pre warns you via voice when testing, has a night light & feels much better made.(Can also be added to HomeKit via homebridge)Taking these points into account the netatmo is getting replaced with another nest.

Stupidly easy to install and set up within the app.The alarm runs self tests on connections and status which useful.I only wished it did combined smoke and monoxide alarms for the price.
