Rock solid table/stand clamp and really strong articulating arm are a huge value at this price.
This articulating head and clamp combo is not only one of the best purchases I have made in a long time, but it’s also incredibly affordable for what it is. The quality is definitely all there, but I feel like this is a legit value. The table clamp is rock solid and hasn’t left any sort of marks on any surface I have used it on (thanks to the thick latex-rubber layers). It works really well on tables, but there is also an indentation that makes it easy to clamp onto a light stand or c-stand and hold its position very well. The multiple 1/4-20 mounting options are a huge plus. You can mount this in virtually any orientation and still have a thread in the direction you need. The articulating arm is surprisingly tiny and light, but really powerful. I mean that it can hold a pretty hefty amount of weight without sagging. The thumb screws works great vs having to twist the whole thing (or your camera) into place like other articulating arms. In the handle are 1/4-20 to 3/8” adapters, which is a cool bonus.Together, these two pieces can mount just about anything anywhere. I have used it to hold my audio recorder on a boom stand and for clamping a microphone to a table. You could mount any reasonable sized camera just about anywhere too. I can see getting creative and mounting onto things like a bike or a tall bookshelf for some interesting camera perspectives.100% worth every penny for this combo and I haven’t found any downsides given the price point. As a combo, I can’t see many limits on what to mount and where to mount it. Everything is rock solid too. These pieces can obviously be used on there own too and that only adds to the value.I would absolutely buy this again and just might pick up a second set.

Happily trust my expensive gear attached to this articulating arm and clamp
Summary: There is a reason that DigitalFoto have numerous products with 5 star Amazon reviews and that reason is on full display with this clamp & arm combo. From the start I was very impressed with the build quality of this combo. It is made from thick machined aluminum. No plastic parts here. There are no burs or other imperfections in areas like the screws or mounting holes which is quite common with this type of gear. Everything about this setup screams high quality and honestly incredible value for my money. The big highlight of this setup is the strength of the articulating arm. Most arms like this in the under $100 range claim to hold several pounds. However even if you put something like a small field monitor monitor with battery inevitably the arm will start to bend down. This is NOT the case with this arm. It arm is incredibly strong and sturdy. I have mounted everything from a AD200 strobe with reflector, 7” field monitor with the largest battery available and even my mirrorless camera in a camera cage with the VERY heavy Canon 16-35L lens (this lens weighs 1.4 lbs by itself!) and the arm didn’t move an inch. Just look at the pictures on this review for proof. I believe they achieve this kind of rigidity with 3 things. First of course is the solid allow aluminum build. Second is the strong handle which enables you to crank down very hard without causing any bend or damage to the material. Third are the rubber grommets that surround the balls within the arm that provides more surface area to lock it down. The only similar kit I found that provided the same kind of strength and security was the Manfrotto 244MicroKit which will cost you a little over $100.This setup is full of nice touches and I very much appreciate the attention to detail on display with this gear. The clamp has rubber pads on the top and bottom of the clamp which will help protect whatever you are attaching it to. Much to my wife’s dismay I attached the clamp to our dining room table as a test and cranked it down quite a bit. After removing the clamp there was no damage whatsoever to the finish of the table and thus did not have to sleep on the couch that night. The clamp opens more than wide enough to attach to any table I’ve ever encountered. The clamp also has ¼ and ⅜ mounting holes all over it giving you a huge range of options to where you can attach devices to it. Speaking of those mounting points, built in the handle of the arm are 2 screw adapter shrouds that you can remove and use to change the mounting holes from ¼ to ⅜. I love how these little adapters are housed within the handle so I don’t have to worry about ever losing them within a deep camera bag.Stop wasting money on cheap clamps and articulating arms that either break after several uses or are only strong enough to hold something like a GoPro. DigitalFoto doesn’t make low quality gear and it shows in this product combo. I am continually impressed by all the products I have used from them. All of their gear from clamps and articulating arms like this to their gimbal mounts and handles are high quality and would be more than willing to recommend them over similar but more expensive gear from manufacturers like Manfrotto and Wooden. I happily give this a 5 star review and my highest recommendation.

I wish I had this years ago
I bough this mounting bracket so I could mount some small LED lights in out of the way places, but as it turned out, my first use was to hold my action camera yesterday. First off, the bracket really grips solidly. For this shoot, I clamped it to a shelf over a hot stove. It locked on and didnt slip at all, nor did it leave any marks anywhere I used it. Also, because there are threaded holes all over the bracket, I was able to easily get multiple mounting options for the camera either over the top, or from the side. The articulating arm is incredible. It is easy to use and locks in place without moving. Really easy to adjust with one hand, and I could see no visible jitter or movement on this little arm. In the past I have used other types of arms with a wire inside that you tighten with a screw knob. They were always susceptible to wobble. Thankfully this one is not.Definitely a must have in your kit and now that I have had such a good experience with this device, I will be buying a bunch more to hold lights, monitors, mics etc. Lastly, I have bought other DigitalFoto products, so I was pretty confident that this would be a good item, but I am really blown away at just how good this is.

Solidly built, Excellent Quality - Exactly What I Was Looking For!
This clamp is really high quality. Extremely solid build, with metal all throughout - no flimsy plastic pieces here. Even the magic arm is metal, and when tightened down, can easily hold anything you can fit on it. The knurling on the thumbscrews is a really nice touch, as it lets you get that extra bit of tension on them. The C clamp's screw is well cut, as it rotates smoothly, but also locks into place well. The rubber buffer piece is a nice touch, and is easily removable when you need that extra grip or don't have to worry about the surface.I've already tried mounting numerous pieces of kit to different surfaces, and I'm very impressed with how well it holds. There's a variety of mounting holes on the clamp itself. Combining those with the magic arm gives a huge range of possible positions. Definitely a must-have in any bag!
