Does this actually work to keep you warm, or is it a knock-off (as it is quite cheap)? All the reviews are for ‘baby sensory’😅

It’s basically thin crisp packet material. I’m not sure how you could make a knock off version. As long as it bounces back light it should work.

Will this be ideal for homeless ? Warmth wise?

As nicola is one of those fools that post pointless answers I'll answer They will be more than ideal for a homeless person but I'd opt to buy a heavy thermal blanket

Can I use this as a cape in which to fight crime and instil fear in evil doers?

That's what I used it for, zero crime in my area now.
