high quality, no junk/filler, healthy and dogs love
The more data that comes out about what's harmful to dogs' health, the harder it gets to find food and treats that meet my criteria. Since the AVMA has said that peas, legumes and potatoes are likely causing early heart failure in dogs due to the disruption in the dogs' taurine production, I have had a difficult time finding stuff that I feel confident in giving my dearly loved rescued pit bull pups. This is just U.S. raised chicken, veg glycerin, vitamin E and rosemary. Simple. Also a lof of these types of jerkys I find have gone over to mold fast. Not so in this case. They gobble them up and I don't have to worry about them getting sick later in life, as I know they're getting something pretty close to what their wolf ancestors would have. If they're happy, I'm happy.

100% chicken breast...No bones about it!!!
Lip smacking. Bite sized pieces my Pitt loves to munch. Sits by counter where container is stored with hope in his eyes and wagging tail. These are soft enough to chew with no fear of chipped teeth. Reasonably priced with bonus of being American made. You can't tell by the photo, but this guy is 90 pounds, it takes a lot of energy for a dog this size to jump up this high. He is a happy, sweet tempered dog. He will do just about anything for a treat. Hope your four footed friend likes them just as much.

Not the same as the chicken strips in this brand
I buy the Farmland Traditions Dogs Love Chicken Premium Jerky Treats for Dogs, 3 lb. Bag which are in a strip and both my dogs love them. I have never had an health issue with the strips, but right away I had a problem with these round ones. I wanted a smaller bag and the smaller bags only come in a round shape. I thought they would be the same although round in shape. I can't tell you why they made my dog sick because the package says they have the same ingredients as the strips, but they sure did. Vomiting and diarrhea. It may be because I have one dog with a history of pancreatitis and a sensitive stomach and something in these just didn't agree with him. I am very careful with what I give my dogs because of this issue. It may be the preservative and the rosemary that they added to the round shape that they don't have in the strips. I threw the whole package out. I'll stick with the strips.

Initially loved it, than as time went past my dog was acting strange
The product seems like a great value. No fillers, grains, healthy. My little chi loved them. As time went by she was shaking, acting strange. Vomiting. Howling in pain. My husband and I were in complete confusion. She had a physical 3 weeks prior with a clean bill of health. An allergic reaction to the shot which past in a day.. We could not figure it out. The only change was the treat. My husband was holding her. She was shaking. He was about to take her to the vet when he thought about. It. He gave a treat 20 to 30 minutes prior to the episode. She is not chewing just swallowing the treat. She must not be digesting it well. We stopped with the treats. Now she eats chopped petite carrots for treats and she loves them. Since new treats carrots she is back to her old self again. No crying, refusing to eat, shaking and vomiting.

1 paw up one paw down
I gave this 3 stars because one of our dogs gives it a paw up and the other gives it a paw down. The picky pup does not like pressed jerky. He only likes the kind that is straight up pieces of pure meat dried in natural form. Decent price point and seems fresh. The big dog gobbles it up (but she also eats cat poop).

DO NOT GIVE THESE TREATS TO SMALL DOGS!!!
Every morning, I was routinely giving these treats to my small dogs, until last week when my small male terrier got a piece caught in his throat. Because the chicken is very pleasing to the dog, but is hard to break into small pieces, as well as the fact that it is dehydrated and not well digested, it easily gets caught in the throat & esophagus of small dogs. I had to go to the pet emergency center three times, required expensive procedures, pain meds and a 10 days of a liquid/soft diet as my pets esophagus was highly damaged. I have tried to contact the seller, but no luck and am considering a law suit, as there is no such disclaimer in their ad. Now I know, DO NOT GIVE TO SMALL DOGS!!

Pup looks forward to training with these treats.
My lab pup eats rabbit poo so it's hard to say exactly how great these are because she is not a picky eater. However, when I use these as a training treat she seems way more exited than other treats. So exited she can hardly concentrate. She will patiently wait for her other treats after a "lay down" command. But if she knows I have these she will lay down then immediately jump up and command her treat! I don't know if that's good or bad, but it's the way it is! I rip these up into tiny bits and use them as a quick little bite for her training treat. I will make them bigger as she grows. I will probably buy again.

My Pugs LOVE these! Good price too....
Regardless of what others say, my "toy breed" dogs love these treats, and the pups ( who get 1/2 treat) also enjoy them. I've never seen anyone have difficulty with choking on them, and I like the fact that these can either be soft and chewy ( for pups or elders) or crunchy for the adults who prefer a crunchy treat. I take a dozen of so out of the bag and leave them out overnight...voila'! Crunchy treats. Make sure to fully close the ziplock bag, and they stay soft for a long time ( longer than a bag ever lasts at my house anyway. They are USA made and sourced, with no mystery ingredients, and are the right size snack/treat for about a 5 minute chew for a Pug.

Happy to find.
I bought one bag of chicken and one bag of turkey/sweet potato.Chicken shipped via Canada Post and the Turkey a courier , both showed up the same day.Chicken came in the mail a few hours earlier. So my Chihuahua had two of the chicken and loved them. He hasn't tried the turkey yet.Nothing looks ugly in the bags and which ever he eats, we will order again. We normally buy this brand in the USA when we go on vacation, but since that hasn't happened this year. I am happy I found this brand in Canada .
