Love this backpack
Light weight, sturdy, fits everything I need to carry backpacking and I still have room for more stuff, even with my bulky sleeping gear. The removable brain is a great idea. The hip pouches are comfortable. I used to carry a cheap Walmart backpack that was 4lbs heavier than this bag and I had to counter balance constantly whenever I turned or went down steep hills or climbing over bug rocks. This pack makes me feel like I am a go-cart on a track in the woods in comparison and it stays with my body when I need to climb, slide, swing, ect. (I'm very skinny 130 lb 5'9" lady, and it doesn't slip around on my tiny body). Definitely a great bag if you're looking to cut weight, but not looking to spend a ton of money on a lightweight bag that fits everything you'd need to carry.

Could be Great if -
This pack held up well on a 4-day trek in Glacier National Park. This pack has a many positivesLightweight, side pockets can hold 2 Nalgenes and two 20-oz, water bottles, has a hanger for water bladder, removable brain, can handle a short drizzle of rain without need of a pack cover, adjustable hip belt, hip belt pockets, and well placed compression straps. It also has two big negativesShoulder straps are very thin and it has a horrible sternum strap with a very poorly designed buckle that is unbelievable difficult to connect. Offset the first problem by adding two Dr. Air Replacement Shoulder Strap Pads also sold by Amazon. Still searching for a replacement sternum strap to address the second problem make a good pack a great pack.Manufacturer gives this pack a 35-lb load rating. It is uncomfortable with 35-lb. Should really be 25 to 30 lb maximum. The mesh on the back can tear easily, so be careful how you put down the pack.

A solid lightweight option
I bought this pack to have a lighter weight backpacking option to my current Osprey pack. I think it will do the job nicely. The two things I will miss with this pack are the mesh back panel on the Osprey and it doesn’t have quite as many outside ouches and straps. Having said this, my goal was to shed some trail weight and this pack is very light and will give me a great lightweight option.

Professional guide tested and approved
Professionally guide as a part of my job.Pros- cost, plenty of space for a smaller (under 50 miles) trip, neat color, easily adjustable to fit your frame and adjustable on trail, will not fall apart if you get soaked, pack is very lightweightCons- pretty much one large sack so no small compartments for organizing, side pouches could be bigger for hydration devices, dosent come with rain fly. All easily fixable for cheap.Overall I would strongly recommend as a trusted entry level or small trip pack.

Thru hiked the Appalachian Trail with this bag
I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail with this bag. Worked great the entire adventure from Georgia all the way to Maine. Comfortable the whole way and perfect size for all my gear.

Within a couple months the load lifter strap tore off.
Reasonably comfortable pack for the weight. Effectively no ventilation for the back. The load lifter strap tore off after less than ten miles of hiking use but no other major wear was noted for the next 50 miles or so. I’ll try to get it repaired in the off season but their website looks like they are trying to avoid actually doing warranty repairs by making it difficult.

Good price / deal for a light / ultralight option.
I like this pack, firstly you can remove some of the parts and lower the weight, or leave them on. i.e. lid, and belt. It's solid construction as far as I can see, and it was on sale at a great price.

I like it but side pockets are clumsy for storing water bottles
The pack very comfortable, light weight yet strong, and versatile. One small problem is that it takes a contortionist to be able to get a bottle from the pockets without taking the pack off and nearly impossible to put the bottle back in. It does have space for a bladder you go that route.

Only done very short trips but I love it, feels great.
Way more comfortable than my other packs, sits tight, close, feels light when full. Agree with some comments that it needs a zip for low down/rear access & water bottle hard to reach. My first real lightweight pack, not too expensive, looks & feels great. Too small capacity for my needs (it's actually more for the wife to use). Only wished they made a light weight 90-100L pack. I like to carry plenty of gear for various reasons (more bulky than real heavy gear) Big packs are really heavy & made very strong. I would love to find a lightweight 100L that is not so strong & heavy. Just let it fall apart & buy another one when it dies. Lightweight is more important than lifespan to me. Manufactures won't do this as it will kill their reputation. Come on guys, just call it a big, lightweight, disposal backpack.
