Wears very well
If you are like me, you miss jeans that were well made of tough material that lasted a long time. Jeans really aren't like they used to be.These are made of canvas. They are very well made. They have the convenient pockets of work pants. They are tough. They wear well. I don't know how long it will be before they fade or wear out because they haven't yet and I have been enjoying them for months.I recommend them highly.

One complaint. Sounds minor but it isn't!
As a loyal Wrangler denim jeans guy, I picked up 3 pairs of Wrangler Riggs Workwear Men's Ranger Pants at a good price to compare and supplement my go to Carhartts. The Riggs appear to be well made (Nicaragua) with good material, an abundance of pockets and heavy stitching. My complaint lies with too much distance between belt loops resulting in the pants not adequately capturing the belt. For instance, quickly hanging a drill on your belt to free up a hand results in the tool sliding and or belt sagging. There are loops on either side of the front button, one at the 3 o'clock position, one at the 6, and one at the 9, total 5 loops. My Wrangler jeans and Carhartts all have (7) seven. Don't understand why Wrangler chose 5 for the Riggs 'Workwear' line. If I'm noticing it with a 33" waist the problem is only going to be exasperated for the larger wearers. I know it sounds petty but its a deal breaker for me. Add two loops problem solved. Thank You!

Heavy weight, sturdy feel, great looking work pants.
Very rugged thick material. Great work pants and they look really nice. The waist was a bit snug and my husband thought about returning them but he needed them. They have stretched enough that he is comfortable in them now. He really likes these pants.

Inconsistent sizes. Exhalent pants. I own three.
I own three pairs. I like how they are lightweight yet the wind doesn't blow through them. The length on the first pair was perfect. The second pair was a inch longer and the third pair is close to 4 inches to long. Good in the waist

These pants always fail
Always eventually fail in the same place, usually last about a year or two in rotation with another pair of pants. Very light duty as a Land Surveyor. In the front left over where I keep things in my pocket near the crotch a hole always develops right above the seam. Except this new batch I got, a pair has failed within 10 wears, hole by the pocket for no good reason. I love the fit and function but there is no warranty on these and they're expensive, so I'll have to find another solution.

Riggs workwear
Very comfortable and rugged pants. waist runs smaller than other brands so it took a couple of returns to get proper fit.

Can't say enough about these pants.
It may be the fact that all of my old work apparel came from Walmart, but I know now that their Wrangler's are these Wrangler's. These are amazingly well made and super comfortable. Try them out and you will not be disappointed. Keep in mind they seem to run a tad snug around the waist. Love them. Buy them.

Quality
I was impressed with the quality of these pants. They're made of durable material and I love the leather patch on the right front pocket. I hang my Motorola radio on the right front pocket of my work jeans. For that reason, the pocket edge of all my work jeans are freyed. The patch should help eliminate the problem. Also, the back pockets have a nylon material sewn on the pocket edge as well. All in all, these pants appear to be worth every penny!
