Must have for airport travel
These are so much better than the bag. I wish we bought them sooner! Makes holding the heavy car seat more ergonomic/closer to the body so it doesn’t seem as heavy.

Just do it!
I highly recommend this product for your diono car seat. I tried this for a recent trip but also bought the diono car seat bag just in case this was too uncomfortable for getting through the airport. I am 5’3”, small frame, but able to carry some weight on my shoulders. (I’m willing to go backpacking with a 25lb pack.) I often travel alone with my kid. These straps were very comfortable (like carrying a heavy backpack) and SUPER convenient. I opted for this because you can leave them on while using the seat so they are just ready to go! If you’re using this so you install in an airplane, this is key because it would be a hassle to take on and off the bag in a tight space where everyone around you is in a hurry. Plus, keep in mind your active kid is loose on the plane when you’d be doing this bagging and unbagging. Anyways I’ll never fly with a toddler without a car seat again and these straps really did the trick. Getting around the airport I could push the stroller, hanger the diaper bag from the handles, carry the car seat on my back, and jackets under the stroller. If I really wanted to push it, I could even bring a carry on bag. But I didn’t!As for the straps, the nice thing is they have the clips on both ends. You could use them for some other application if you like. They fit into fabric loops on the car seat that I never noticed before. Make sure to buy quantity 2 for the backpack configuration. I have the 2019 version of Diono Radian RXT with the cover and these straps work fine. The cover did not obstruct the attachment points for the straps. If you are still using the car seat as rear facing with the foam and recliner attachments I recommend getting the bag instead because of all the loose parts. But TBH rear facing doesn’t work well on the airplane. If your kid can sit up, even if they rear face in the car, I recommend forward facing in the plane. It’s more about making sure they stay in their seat than safety from crashes in my opinion.

Works well, would prefer more customization
I bought two of these so that I could wear my son's carseat like a backpack on a recent plane trip. They worked very well and the padding was nice. The one thing I would have liked was to be able to tighten them more. The pads are so long that I couldn't get the straps as snug as I needed them.

Great
We have a 3.5 & 5.5 year old. We used this to make it easier to carry our lightweight strollers in the airport and at Disney when the kids weren’t riding. I was glad we ordered the strap as it can be hard to push a stroller and wheel an adult and a child suitcase. I did need a zip tie for the attachment to the stroller.

Buy if traveling w/ more than one child
These straps kept us alive while at the airport. We traveled recently across country with our three kiddos (2 of whom are in the dionos). These were especially helpful when we arrived and had to lug all our baggage to the shuttle then to the rental car all the while we had two free hands for the other bags. I saw other reviews said “not comfortable” or “not worth it”... To me just the fact that we had the car seats on our backs and not juggling them like some roadside attraction on top of luggage bags. Oh and the stroller and don’t forget holding the hands of the other children too. THESE MADE LIFE EASIER! We believe you get what you pay for and though these aren’t the most comfy straps they certainly get the job done.Only thing I would recommend is attaching the straps the day before your flight so you aren’t scrambling last min while at the airport. I attached ours the night before and had no issues. Idiot proof.

So far so good
I ordered 2 of these to use as a backpack style for carrying the car seats through the airport. I've only tested them out in the house, but so far they seem sturdy and also feel comfortable being carried on my back. The only issue I've had is the limit put on purchasing these. I have twins and need two more for the other car seat, however I can't purchase those due to reaching the limit put on these.

these worked great for me
I purchased Diono purposely for its steel construction and portability, despite its heaviness. I have travelled 3 times solo with our 4 yr old using her car seat on the plane. The first time I had a roller carry-on and strapped it onto that with the EZ travel strap. I purchased 2 of these Diono straps for these last two trips to use as a backpack, and while yes, the seat itself is heavy, these worked great for me. The padding could be a bit thicker, but they served their purpose. Simple to hook onto the material hooks on the RXT's back side. I'll definitely be using these on our next trip bc it was easier to slide the seat off my back to go through security and get onto the plane and walk down the aisle, then having to unstrap and restrap it onto the carry-on, plus take it off and carry it along with the carry-on down the plane aisle - not an easy feat.

Great for travel
Bought 2 for a trip I had coming up. I used both for the backpack style carry. They are surprisingly very comfortable. The Diono carseats are heavy, but the straps made it very easy to move and transport the carseat around SFO, including getting into the plane itself. My only complaint is I couldn't move the shoulder pads up to make the straps tighter, and the straps do loosen a bit as you continue to wear it.I was able to wear my carseat on my back, baby on my front in an ergo and still wheel my carryon with no issues. Definitely made the trip less stressful! (And the diono radian rxt installs beautifully forward facing in the plane, I couldn't get a good install rear facing)

Great idea though
The Diono line of car seats is one of the most solid ones you'll find. Therefore they are heavy as heck. This strap definitely worked well for us when we travelled with it recently, despite the padded shoulder cushion it definitely takes a toll on your shoulder carrying it for a long period.May order a 2nd strap for next time and wear as a backpack. Great idea though! Definitely recommend it for people travelling with their car seat.

Makes travelling with a car seat in the airport easier.
Not the most comfortable thing in the world, but I guess that's to be expected when carrying a big heavy car seat. There were no instructions on where to clip this strap so there was some guessing as to where it would need to be clipped and not wreck the car seat. This did help us a lot on our trip from Canada to Portugal and back with the car seat travelling with us the whole way, including on the plane.

Slippery Shoulder Pads. Sturdy and strong.
I have 2 Diono's so I bought 2 of these to carry on each shoulder. The shoulder padding is very slippery so they kept falling off my shoulders from time to time. Could be improved if they had a more grip like those found on a camera bag. But overall sturdy and strong.

Single or double straps work well
Fit perfect, decided not to bring on a trip to France from Canada. But bought 2 to make the backpack and it fit pretty comfortably. We'll try on future trips.

The car seats are super heavy, but this made it easier to carry
Worked well to help get our car seats through the airport. The car seats are super heavy, but this made it easier to carry.
