I must admit this is a pretty cool little gift to give anyone! No matter who you are you always have a need for this little, compact, handy flashlight. This is good to keep in your pocket, in your travel bag, in your car, on your bike,etc. often times we all want the brightest flashlight but when it comes to easy task such as looking in a dark cupboard it makes sense to be able to have a small but powerful light in your position. I attend an indoor convention that requires us to have a flashlight in the event that the lights go out we can direct people out, but it has to be small enough to fit in my pocket. They say you can use the flashlight on your phone but in an emergency I want to be able to call 911 and have a light to find my way to the nearest exit...In conclusion the flashlight is good to have, it's a good price, it has a good light to it, and it works as described..Buy it!

They aren't crazy bright, but then again they aren't marketed as some "600 Lumens spy light". I'm pretty happy with the light output, really, for how I use them: Quite a handy, portable utility light. I like that they have two brightness modes, but there's not as much visual difference between them as I'd have hoped/expected. The only real downside to them is that I find myself wanting to just hold it in my mouth, which given it's a bare battery can be a bit nasty, and can lead to saliva getting on the battery terminals. I'm thinking of making reusable silicone sleeves to seal them for that purpose.

Amazingly nifty and handy little lights. You couldn't ask for a more compact flashlight. Even in its low intensity 2 LED mode, its bright enough to see in a dark corner, and the 6 led mode provides plenty of light for anything I need to do. Also, its a neat gadget to show to the other guys.

I love these little flash lights. I purchased them to "use up" batteries which come out of smoke detectors. They put out a lot of light for their size and last a long time on one battery. They are small and easy to store and carry - which is also the only thing I don't like - I lose them!

As advertised. Good for around the house, but I wouldn't take it with my anywhere. The light is strong, but I didn't test how long the battery lasted.

Besides having a great price its a great way to use up the 9volts from your smoke detectors without having the kids use up your AAA batteries for the other compact LED Flashlights out there. Very Bright with 6 LEDs and still failrly bright in 2 LED mode. Due to unsealed access to terminal for fluids DO NOT USE in Damp enviroments or Marine applications as Shorting could occur with excessive moisture (Just good Sense here) This is not something to give your 5 Year old either :)

This is the brightest, most compact flashlight on the market. If you have 9volt batteries that you swap out of your smoke detector at recommended intervals, they generally have power left in them. These flashlights make use of the remaining power before you recycle them. I always have enough partially used 9 volt batteries to power all the flashlights I maintain. Their size and brightness are their selling points.
