I decided on these soft jaws after reading other reviews. They are good quality and easy to fit, just bend the side arms in slightly until they grip the vice, tighten the vice then tap the lugs inwards with a small hammer to fully grip the sides of the vice.They will then stay in place securely, and can be lifted off easily when not required.Simple and effective!

Worked a treat holding brass in my Irwin 3 inch vice without any damage.

Good quality jaws. Fitted my 3in Record vice perfectly and allow it to be used to grip a range of things things better and/or with less risk of damage. Once properly fitted, they stay in place when the vice is open but are easily removed and refitted when required.

Used these for many years in a heavy industrial setting, equally suited for home use.Don't waste money on the magnetic type, they squash, don't hold the workpiece and the magnets shatter.Sometimes old school just works.

Bought to protect more delicate items in my engineers vice. They do the job well, and can get a good grip. Not showing much sign of wear. Great product

A solid product but it could do with having a better (holding friction) grip and the metal tail wings that fit over the vice jaws to be another 12 mm longer so the wings can hold onto the vice jaws without dislodging or falling off.
