Works quite well
My mistake messed up the first try but on the second the mold turned out great. Lots of detail. It does get bubbles that can add some texture but I’m going to give it another go this evening with something to shake out the bubbles. Used it to make a silicone mold and it turned out great

First time users please read.
I want to start off with please read the instructions on the back carefully! I did not and my first two tries failed from being too lumpy but still set and were well textured. Use cold distilled water if you want about 60 seconds for more working time. I used a wisk and got fewer lumps in the 3rd batch but solved that with a cheap blinder. I used cold distilled water first before turning on the blender before adding the powder. That minimized both lumps and bubbles in roughly 10 to 15 seconds before pouring the mixture slowly as to let any remaining bubbles escape. Just try not to take too long because even with cold water the set time is still only about 5 or so minutes. Overall this product is fantastic! With the amount of detail it can hold, and with a little practice its well worth the price!

Good product just a little pricey
This lifemold alginate stuff works very well. Follow the instructions. Maybe watch some YouTube tutorial videos for additional information. Use distilled water instead of tap water and the molds will turn out better with finer details. The only negative I personally experienced with this product is that when stirring the alginate powder with the right quantity of distilled water, (I used an egg whisk and stirred it manually with my hand) the texture was very clumpy, I'd suggest using an electric egg whisk

Water amount not accurate
Had to do three times. First time, water pooled. Second time, it collapsed. Not easy to do.

Easy & Fast Handprint & Footprint mold.
I bought a kit to mold our baby’s hand. I needed more alginate to mold our other children’s hands & found this. It was excellent. Easy to use. Rapid set up. I will buy more for sure when casting/molding more things. Love it!

Very disappointing.
I tried multiple times (3/4 cup of product each time). I varying the mixing tool - paint mixer, kitchen wisk, and then the water temperature (from cold to lukewarm). Temperature effected the most variation - slow initial set with cold to 60 seconds form lukewarm. BUT - in any of the trials the mold would fall apart into a cottage-cheesy mess when handled. Never experienced this with a competitor's product (think smooth).Total waste of $17.45.

Best Alginate I've gotten yet.
Mold powder worked great, and best of all unlike other brands had no mint smell. The instructions are clear and support from the company is great (they even e-mail you them before the item shows up). Great Job!

Best product to use for molding a baby hand/feet.
I used this product to make hand and feet mold of my one year old baby. It was super easy to use. If you want to work on a slower pace, I'd recommend using room temperature water. If you can work quickly then use warm water. I experimented with both temperatures and found that room temperature was much easier to use. It took a bit longer to set but ensure no mistakes because you don't have to rush. Best time is when baby is sleeping. It's impossible to do it when baby is awake. 😊👶
