Voltas 1.4 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC (Copper 173V JZJ (R32) White)

If I have to describe it in one sentence I would say "Go for it".Amazon delivery was superb. The installation was smooth (though it was in remote location yet they made it properly)AC works really well and quite. You'll just hear the breeze sound. Can't comment on after sale service as it's just been 20 days installing this AC but hope Voltas will not disappoint.For installation I paid ₹999 + GST PLUS ₹370/feet for extra Copper pipe and its rubber insulation. (It may vary place to place)One thing I didn't like is, the installation partner was cheating which I caught before it was done. They were giving 3rd class (non branded) wire and charging ₹60/ Gaj for 3 core 2.5 MM wire however, the wire was not even proper 1.5 MM. It was just having more thick PVC cover. So I denied to use that wire and purchased my own (branded one).Since the AC has inbuilt stabilizer, I didn't purchase a separate one (you can get if you wish).For MCB, you can use 2 pole (3 pole in case you have earthing) 32 AMP.Pls let me know if this review helped you deciding it better.Happy Summer!

Though this size (1.4 ton) is a bit strange, it is as good as an 1.5 ton AC. Looks are a bit con to this model. However, the effectiveness of the AC is good so far. The following are my observations:1. There is an LED light in the middle of the front side for indicating the temperature. This is not generally visible in the product images. Temperature setting can range from 16 to 30 degrees, as is the case with most of the ACs.2. I could see only a nominal rise due to this in power bill. So far there was only some 400 Rs. rise per month after its arrival, though it is used for around 10 hours a day. The savings may be due to the inverter component of this AC.3. The indoor unit has 3 levels of fan speed: low, medium and high. The 'high' speed setting is a little bit noisy compared to other two. However, it doesn't matter much.4. The vertical swing doesn't cover all the possible angles. Covers only 50% of the possibility. This is a poor design.5. Installation: The installation was the worst part. Though it is mentioned that standard AC installation cost is Rs. 1500 in Amazon, it was Rs. 2000+ 18% GST+Tips for the installation guys= Rs. 2500. They said Rs. 2000 instead of 1500 was because of the inverter model. The Voltas guys were not responsive to the Amazon's automatic request for the installation after the products gets delivered. I had to follow up the Voltas customer care repeatedly. By the way, the local vendors of AC provide a free and hassle-free installation.6. Remote is a bit disappointment. They gave a very large and bulky remote. But it works okay.Will update the review to include my forthcoming experiences.

Voltas AC is Simply superb. In 27 itself my kids are started severing... except HZ swing all other function in the remote is working.Pros :AC cooling excellent and matchless.Product looks great indoor and outdoorRemote looks cool and work good around 180 degree.Cons:Takes 3 mins to throw the chill breezeVery worst installation provided by the VOLTAS installation team , Since i am aware about AC's i managed to get my job done with them.Few examples:1) No safety belt for the outdoor installation guy at 2nd floor.2) Took entire day to remove my existing AC and install the new AC, because of not trained well by VOLTAS.3) He screws the out door just like that, and addition to that he haven't installed the vibration protector rubbers. then i noticed and forced him to do that.4) Excellent one seriously VOLTAS Training team deserves the Saliva/Lick test Award for the gas leask, Since they trained these peoples to do the gas leak test by applying the saliva on the outdoor Copper pipe connecting areas.5) For Amazon purchase need to pay the installation cost Rs.600, they showed mail from Voltas saying charge for Amazon buyers and don't charge for the Croma and some other offline stores.Update on 2/May/2018Today Mr.Dhamodran ( Installation/Technical/Incharge) and his team members inspected the AC at my home and changed the indoor to outdoor connection as per the standard.Thank you for the Swift response VOLTAS, It proves how committed your to the customer satisfication.

Let me provide the review of this AC category wise-LOOKS - Average.AC size is a bit large in comparison to modern products.Looks average.INSTALLATION - 3 DAY INSTALLATION.PerfectCooling - Superb. Cooling is fast and v efficient. Cools the whole of 14*12 very fast. 4.5 starsElectricity Consumption - Can't tell as I bought it a few weeks ago. it's a inverter AC so electricity saving expectedPrice - Value for money as I bought it during sale.Noise - Zero Noise.Ekdum silent.Remote Control - Not v good.Very complicated and not customer friendlyI found this AC of v good quality and value for money.Go buy it. Price are reasonable too.

Product is too good, instant cooling.Make sure of the products delivery process, choleck the coils and refrigerant levels.And regarding VOLTAS'S service, it depends on different state and city.Voltas services in Kerala are one of the best along with Samsung.This 1.4 ton is a more energy efficient deal to consider if you're looking for instant cooling in a medium size living or large bedrooms.The Amazon delivery was of course a little bit careless, but Voltas technicians did their job perfectly, again the voltas service quality varies in different cities. If you're from Kochi, almost all AC brands provide you very good services.And last but not least BUY FROM AMAZON ONLY IF THERE'S A VERY GOOD DEAL (MORE THAN 2K DIFFERENCE), YOUR LOCAL STORE IS ALWAYS THE BEST OPTION. BECAUSE THE LOCAL STORES ALWAYS HAVE DIRECT CONNECTION WITH BRANDED AC SERVICE PEOPLE AND ALSO VOLTAS HAS 5 YRS COMPREHENSIVE WARRANTY WHEN BOUGHT FROM STORE UNLIKE TGE 1YR WARRANTY IN AMAZON.
