After reading other reviews I knew exactly what to expect and how to proceed. As most people indicated the petals arrived stuck together and with a slight chemical smell. In order to handle both issues I placed the petals in a sink full of warm water along with some clothes detergent. I allowed them to soak for a few minutes and then began the process of pulling the petals a part. Since they were wet I was able to use my thumb and index finger to take them a part easily. Once done taking them a part (approximately 20 min) I placed them all into a pillow case, added a fabric softener sheet and dried on medium heat for approximately 30-40 minutes. The chemical smell, although faint in the beginning, is now non existent. These petals are pretty and will brighten any occasion they are used for.

My girlfriend surprised me with tickets to watch Drake perform in Atlanta. We had an Airbnb walking distance away from the venue. As my girlfriend and I make our way towards the concert, I told her I “forgot” my wallet and had to rush back to get it. I scattered these rose petals across the Airbnb and set up some candles. When we came back. I rushed ahead of her because I had to “use the restroom” when really I just had to turn on the candles before she walked in. Easy to clean up.

I bought these fake rose petals in a crunch as I did not have the time (or patience) to pluck the petals off real roses.When I got them they were super difficult to separate but I did my best in prep for a romantic night. Typical trail that led to a pile of petals in bed.When I returned to my place with my guest and actually laid in the petals it smelled like a brothel. As I realized the grave mistake I had made, my guest’s eyes filled with rage as she was convinced I had used the petals already given the smell that was emanating off of them. She stormed out and there I was, alone with nothing but these fish smelling petals to keep me warm.Friends don’t let friends buy fishy petals.Seriously though....the worst smelling petals ever.

So these things have the right look. That's the only pro.Cons. They take some time to separate. Wet your fingers slightly and they come apart alot easier. The smell is disgusting! I mean oh my goodness the smell is horrific. I'm going to try and wash them before using them because they seriously reak. It's taking alot of time to separate them then wash them .

These rose petals are horrible. They look nice, but stink so bad. They kind of smell like fish and the smell is really strong. I’m afraid they’ll stink up the house. They probably were either stored somewhere close to seafood or not stored properly and have mold/fungus spores. I came to this conclusion because I tried to spray the rose oil on them as suggested and the smell came back. So I looked it up online about how to get rid of the smell and that’s what cane up. Either way I will not be using them and wouldn’t recommend buying them. I’m going to just buy some others from a local store. I only gave it a 2 instead of a 1 because they look very nice and came quick.

First I'll start with the price, the price it great. Like as far as I'm concerned it's a great deal.The only take away is the texture of the petals and how time consuming it is to separate them. Some of the petals have a pretty spot on texture, but the ones that don't are kinda course. The packaging is very compressed and small which is to be expected, but the petals are all stuck together. It took me like 45 minutes to separate them all. So if you have plenty of set up time they are great and guaranteed to put a smile on your significant others face.

Awesome! Going to order more, you do have to separate all 3k by hand, but I don't really mind. You get the hang of it to be honest.

Used these for our 1st anniversary and had these all over the place! I bought 2 packs because I really didn’t know how much I’d need to cover almost an entire studio bedroom! 2 packs was more than enough. Took me about 4 hours to separate all of them and they had a really bad smell to them, hence the 4 stars. I put all petals in a laundry bag with some dryer sheets and tossed in the dryer for about 5 mins, shook them up and the smell was gone! Washed my hands and the smell came off too.
