LUYED Extremely Bright 2000 Lumens 921 912 W16W 3030 24-EX Chipsets LED Bulbs Used for Car Center High Mount Stop Brake Lights, Red

This LED replaces my 921 incandescent. It is bright, appears to be made well, but was a very tight fit. This can be an issue, especially if it is going in something light a third brake light. As you can see in the photograph, it is a bit taller than the bulb it replaces. While that height difference may not make much difference in some applications, it made it difficult to install in my third brake light housing. It actually touches the top of the housing. While that wouldn't be a huge deal physically, it has LEDs on the top that are now firing directly against the housing. Think heat and possible fire. IF this was a light that I expected to stay on for a longer period than what I expect while just applying brakes, I would not have used it. I also suspect this will affect longevity.I almost knocked off a star for them not just showing a picture like I did to make the dimensions obvious. I mean, who wants to go measure and existing 921 to see it this is the same dimension? However, the bulb seems fine so I'm not going to knock the product because the seller didn't provide an easy size comparison. I mean, if you want to sell these, why not take a picture of it beside the few incandescents it replaces?

It’s a very bright light, and it’s an easy, direct replacement for the original incandescent bulb in my 2013 Ram 3rd brake light, but I frequently get a “brake light out” error that goes away after a few seconds. Yes, the light works, but I expected the CAN BUS functionality to work all the time, not intermittently or have a delay. It’s very annoying to start the truck, and almost immediately get the warning “ping” or “chime” with the error message. There were two lights in the package, and I’ve tried both of them separately; both lights have the same problem. I don’t know if the problem is with the manufacturing batch that these two lights were from, but I don’t want to spend the money to find out. Somewhat disappointed in the performance.

The bulbs plugged right in and were blinding and shine light a good distance behind my truck from my bed lights. Perfect product. Showed up super fast. Worked every bit as good as described and did not give me a code for lights out on my dashboard. I’ll definitely buy from them again!

I installed one of these in my 3rd brake light in a 2015 Ram 1500. Awesome light output and zero "canbus" errors.

This was a perfect fit in my 2018 Ram Longhorn’s third brake light . Very bright no error codes well made . Came well packaged in nice heavy duty box . Would definitely buy again .

Great bulbs, this has been the only led company I have bought from since I discovered them a few years ago and they are great. I have them in 3 vehicles now with 1 burning out after a year and they send me a replacement!

I replaced the third break light on my 2019 Ram 1500, so far very please with it, much brighter than original, no error messages. Only been installed a week or so, not sure how longevity, will update this post if there are any problem come about.

Ordered these and they arrived quickly. I also ordered them as they're supposed to be Canbus error free. Installed on my Ram 3500 Laramie backup lights and it made a bulb out error right away. Too bad because I really like the bulbs and the output is good and bright. There is also no way to communicate with the seller. I would have given them the opportunity to make it right before sending them back or have them advise what my options are. If they make a better bulb without errors I'd take it! Message me Luyed!
