If you want to build your own solar powered project with battery backup, then this is an essential piece of kit. It's even a vital bit of kit, because it does it's job based on a simple principle of storage battery voltage sensing. My small project has 620w of solar panels, a 300Ahr LFP battery, and a 2kw pure sine wave inverter. This powers two deep freezers which use (when both are on) no more than 240w, barely 10% of the inverter capacity. The switch limits on this kit can be customised, and I have set mine to switch back to grid when my battery reduces to 12.5v, and revert to the inverter once the battery voltage increases past 13.1v. The switch between the two power sources is so seamless and quick that my freezers don't stop running if it happens while they're running. So far I've proved to myself that a fully charged battery can easily run my freezers, now it's a question of keeping the battery charged well enough. Ok with the UK weather I might need more panels, but here's the thing;- with this device you don't have to worry about your battery running low because you have the peace of mind knowing that if it does then you have the grid as backup.This is my second device, when my previous item went faulty after over two years. I have to hand it to the seller here (MOES) who gave me a good discount on my replacement.

Very well made and intuitive in use. Enables maximum use of solar power without having to check levels and switch over manually. Also protects batteries from over discharge.

Fantastic auto switch, switches from solar/battery to mains and back without affecting any of my devices plugged in, including pc, tv, router, voip or monitor.The only downside is that the scewheads are not covered after installation, leaving exposed mains power. Not an issue really if installed away from easy access. But a simple fold down flap or slide cover would have made this 5 stars.

Not straight forward to wire but once you get your head around it it's easy enough. But it's a fantastic device to save some cash on electric and save your batteries

I run my computer equipment via an Inverter run from Solar/Battery and bought this to automatically switch to mains power when my Battery runs low.It has been flawless. I never notice when it switches to/from the Inverter.The only extra that I would like is remote access to see the state. Not a biggie as the rest of my kit is Victron and so I can see the Battery and Inverter status via the Victron Connect app/VRM.

This item dead on first runWith the LV switch set to 12.3v and the HV switch set to 14v the unit is switched to inverter with a battery voltage at 12v and will not switch to grid no matter what you do with the cut out and cut in settings.It was lucky I noticed this as it would have wrecked my £1000 battery bank by running it completely flat.Also it is not very smart as you can set it up to work but if you forget to switch your inverter on it will still switch to the inverter input even though the inverter is off thus leaving whatever appliances you need to run with no power.This is not a Smart device it is nothing more than a simple voltage controlled switch that will not check if there is voltage at the inputs.Now it has let me down I will not be replacing it, it will be returned for a refund and I will be buildingmy own with all the safety interlocks in place.In my opinion this is a good idea that has not been very well thought through and is left open tofar to many errors on the part of the unit itself and the operator. Item is a must for solar installations works a treat.Easy to configure, I don't need to worry about my storage battery going flat. Auto switch over mains.

I got this to allo me to allow devices to work all the time on my small 100W solar panel. It automatically switches the 110V power between the converter and the grid based on the power available in the battery. Works great!

Packaging is good, when I unbox everything, it's fine, when I open the module, the relay is 12 volt DC 60 ampere, the specification is 50A load, in my opinion, the capacity of the relay can handle safely at 50 ampere, the jumper wire it looks high capacity conductor, at this moment, not yet testing for a real load.

Questo articolo era proprio quello che mi serviva per completare il mio piccolo impianto fotovoltaico.Funziona davvero bene ,semplicissimo da impostare e da gollegare .Le istruzione sono davvero ben dettagliateFinalmente non si hanno più stacchi di corrente ,perchè non appena la batteria si ricarica il dual power ritorna automaticamente al fotovoltaico.Basta accendere l'inverter la mattina e spegnerlo la sera così non devi più preoccuaprti se la batteria va sotto tensione.Io ho prefertio impostare la tensione di scarica a 12 volt e la massima a 12.5 in questo modo la batteria agm durerà molto più tempo,senza scaricarla oltre il 50%.Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto di questo prodoto.Spedizione prime ovviamente puntale e veloce
