South of France Natural Body Care was founded in 1999. Since then, it has become one of the top-selling brands of all-natural bar soap sold nationally in grocery and health food stores and via online retailers. The original South of France soap formula was developed by a French expatriate in the US and manufactured in France using a traditional Marseille triple-milled recipe. Today, South of France soap is manufactured in the USA, still kettle cooked in small batches using this traditional Marseille recipe with all-natural vegetable ingredients.

LOVE it!!!
Love the scent of this soap, and it is moisturizing too. I use this in my powder rooms to also add a fresh scent to the rooms.

Absolutely my favorite soap! Great fragrance and super moisturizing. It also last a very long time.

Long time user of Dial and switched to this!
My husband is a LONG TIME user of dial gold soap. I bought this on a whim at a health food store, and found it cheaper here. He loves how it makes his skin feel, as well as the scent.I, on the other hand, cannot use scented soaps. As much as I LOVE the smell, I tried using and it caused itchiness and discomfort... You know what I mean ladies... However, I am very sensitive to fragrances. I would personally use this as a hand soap only if you are as sensitive as I am. Bummer.Quality is great, lasts longer because it is triple milled. Scent is awesome.

Using this soap for years
I used to get this soap from a well known grocery (initials WF) store, that then quit carrying the product because they had a competing one under their own brand. Their house brand couldn't hold a candle to South of France. Okay, I'm on the local mountain rescue team so I don't want something too scented! But this soap (lavender, both bar and liquid soap) is a perfect one. It leaves my skin oh so soft (!) and I like it because when the bar is down to the end, it becomes pliable enough that I can simply stick it to the new bar and no remnants whatsoever. It lathers well (I hate soap that doesn't lather). What's not to like?

Great product
I was happy to find these South of France soaps on Amazon since they are hard to find at local drug stores and I am trying not to go out that much these days. These appear to be the original product with the nice fragrance, gentle ingredients, and substantial size.
