Gardner Bender10-121N Wire Terminal, 100 Pack, Red (22-16 AWG), 4 Count

For years I have struggled trying to save a few pennies by using the cheap Chinese wire terminals of various description and uses. I was making a repair on our travel trailer that would be inside the wall and I did not want a terminal that would fail at a later date, so I ordered these wire terminals. What a difference!! These provide good tight crimps that hold the wire tightly. Unlike cheaper terminals these are not prone to crush and crack when you try and place a tight crimp. I recommend these. I wish that Gardner Bender made a greater variety of terminals and splices!

I have great confidence in Gardner Bender products. Use these butt connectors on my boat, trailer, camper, ice shack, ATV accessories and anything else where an electrical connection is required.

From this vendor I received quantity of twenty two AWG 22-16 size Butt connectors for $6, a horrible value, as other vendors have 100 count of he same item for $6.99. The 1 star review is because I feel this seller deliberately makes the ad confusing, offering quantity 15 or 21 or 22 or 75 or 100 quantity with the "22" pre-highlighted . Anyone using butt connectors knows these the quantities are absurd, if the ad is read further one can see quantity of "22" is used to confuse with the AWG wire size. I quote "Size: 22 Pack" Out of principle I will be going through the entire return procedure for this tiny, cheap and presumably easily forgotten item, also, bringing this to the attn of Amazon.

This is a really simple tool, there is not a whole lot I can say about it other than it does the job quite well, and is easy to use. What's to say, they do their intended job as they should, and are just about as cheap as you'll find anywhere.No issues with the casing cracking, or crimping through. They're not "top shelf" quality, but a good solid mid-shelf for sure.If you're not in need of super top shelf, and just need something that works, pay no attention to the price and buy with some assurance.

It’s a butt splice! It’s fine. That’s the level of passion that a butt splice warrants. It’s a butt splice. It doesn’t solve all my problems. But it doesn’t make me angry. It’s a butt splice! It doesn’t smell bad, it’s round, it’s red, it splices. It’s not coated with the FLU, and it’s not a portal to a netherplace. It doesn’t make me exclaim in joy, but it’s fine.

Picked these up for general repair applications on motor vehicles. Price is fair and they are easy to use. I would suggest picking up a a small range size to add to your stock, like 18-22. But if you have varying wire sizes or if you are splicing a number of small gauge wires, this will do the trick. You should also consider the solder type butt splice although they are normally more expensive. Overall, a fine product for the price.
