Ok book but doesn't cover everything I needed to know. All about the authors experience and not a real how to book

I admit that I was inspired to obtain and view the following kindlebook How To Start A Youtube Channel For Fun and Profit by Ann Eckhart to help me determine and make a choice about starting my own personalized youtube channel after an offline interaction/experience that I had involving two people younger than me. I keep an open mind to learning various sources of knowledge from both men and women younger and older than me and this has often been that way since I was around 18 years old because I have interacted with people from diverse backgrounds both older and younger than me both during my time in the military and post military, including living in various places (Japan California Florida Virginia Maryland etc.). Some of the features in this kindlebook include: channel name, youtube partnership/update for 2019, filming equipment and set-up, cooking & baking videos, organizing videos, videos on multiple types of reviews, travel and more. I still need more time to give myself on when I would start my own youtube channel, however as a potential novice youtuber this kindlebook had some helpful details for me.

Funny, I am a professional programmer by trade and consider myself computer savvy. I have also posted videos to YouTube (garnering 30k+ views), but how people make money from there has always been a mystery to me. This book answered a lot of questions and made total sense.There are a few typo's and a lot of repeated content (even verbatim), but I wonder if that is intentional. After watching one of her video's where she was commenting on her itchy nose, it is clear to me that this is not a high end operation. But that is the genius here--she is down-to-earth, salty, and full of business acumen. Her book reflects that, and it shows how important it is to have passion and to be conversational. Impressive!I recommend this book if you need to understand the mechanics of running a grass roots channel on YouTube and how to generate revenue. I am glad I did--it got my wheels turning. This will be a go-to reference in the future.

I really like how Ann uses her own, real-life examples of her YouTube channels in her book, including her successes and failures! She lists the early mistakes she made and how she corrected them. She also has a nice list of suggested topics for creating your own YouTube channel. Highly recommended!

Book is fine and contains some good info on youtube and how to start a channel.The book needs some editing, some paragraphs on pages 64/65 are duplicated, "YouTube analytics and viewers prefer videos that are around 15 minutes in length" and then a few pages later, it becomes "YouTube analytics and viewers prefer videos that are around 10 minutes in length"; so, is it 10 or 15 ??? The people want to know!Oh yes, Google+ is dead btw.

Very detailed on how to start your own YouTube channel. Would definitely recommend for someone looking to start their own channel.

I am a novice to this YouTube channel set up thing and Ann wrote a book that was perfect for someone like me. It did seem to include some unnecessary details about her business but it wasn't very often so I still give this book 5 stars and I will be looking at some of her other stuff.The best thing this book did was show how to get a channel started as a beginner and get adsense linked up to your account as well. I do also like that she emphasized frequently that a person should do this for fun as it is obviously going to be more work than I realized.
