Victor 1260-3 12 Digit Heavy Duty Commercial Printing Calculator

I needed a replacement for my supervisor. This works great, can't beat the price, and ordering it for her made me look good to my boss :P

I am a bookkeeper and have had Sharp calculators for years but the last one I purchased just did not hold up well at all. So I thought I would try the Victor brand and absolutely love it!! There is no comparison in the quality of the machines. I would recommend this calculator to anyone who has to use one at their job everyday. The numbers on the tape are larger and clear enough that I can even read them without my glasses. The lit numbers are also much brighter and the speed twice as fast. Overall an extremely well made machine.

RECIEVED MY VICTOR ADDING MACHINE TODAY AND PUT IT TO WORK. THIS REPLACED AND OLDER VICTOR THAT I HAVE BEEN USING FOR THE LAST 24 YEARS. THE NEWER MODEL IS EASIER TO READ BUT THE CLEAR BUTTON IS IN A DIFFERENT PLACE HAVEN'T GOTTEN USED TO THAT YET. WORKS GREAT

Somewhat disappointed with the quality. The + key gets stuck and I really have to hit the 1 and 0 keys harder in order for it to recognize these digits. Much more reliable than the 2 Sharp calculators (didn't last six months) I had before this one. I was spoiled by my 40 year old Royal calculator - the only thing wrong with it was that the tape wouldn't advance anymore.

Use it at work all the time. Wanted something similar to make it easier transitioning from one machine to another. Easy layout for 10 key with several decimal setting. As expected.

I love this calculator. I had a Victor for 25 years and it just recently went crazy on me....It ran like a charm and was always accurate. I felt so bad to give it up....but I bought another one and it is just as great...In fact with the modern updates, easier to use and see numbers....HIGHLY recommend this machine.. ( I wrapped up my old Victor and put it in the attic)

Perfect calculator for my needs and well worth the price.

I used to use a Victor calculator/adding machine back in the seventies, so it was with a bit of nostalgia that I ordered this one. I'm used to using the decimal function (A as they call it), but on all other calculators I've used recently, you don't have to hit the decimal point when you're multiplying or dividing. That is, if I'm dividing 45 by 5 and I don't hit the decimal point. it shows up as .45 divided by 5 and returns .09 as the answer. It's a minor annoyance, but I multiply and divide a lot, so this just adds an extra step.I also find the keys a little stiff when I press them. I can't type nearly as fast on this calculator as I did my previous Canon.

Does the job well.
