LEUCHTTURM1917305477 Pocket Notebook (A6), Softcover, 121 Pages, Blank Azure Blue

Good for starter bullet journals and/or light use
Pros: I like the index at the beginning of the notebook, the pre-numbered pages, and that as a softcover notebook it's lightweight. There's also a handy pocket at the back.Cons: There is some ghosting with the pages, though with the pens I am using (mostly Sakura Gelly Rolls, Pitt artist pens, and triplus fineliners) it's not too bad. Additionally, I don't think I am being too hard on the notebook but I did have to use some double-sided tape to keep the cover attached to the spine. The softcover notebook also has about 120 fewer pages than the hardcover, and one bookmark instead of two.Overall, I think this is a good notebook to get if you know you aren't going to be too hard on it and won't have to worry about accidentally detaching the cover from the spine. If you are thinking about getting into bullet journaling but aren't sure if you'll stick with it, I think this is also a good choice because it is cheaper than the hardcover Leuchtturm so you have less to lose if you don't stick with it. Once I fill this one, though, I think I'm going to trade up to the hardcover so I'll have the extra durability, pages, and bookmark.

Good quality notebook
Honestly, really 3.5 stars, not four, but since that's not an option...I do like Leuchtturn notebooks & I LOVE this size, which was impossible to find locally - and trust me, I spent a lot of time trying. I think they are overpriced. The paper is good, but not as high quality as you'd expect for this price. The binding is good, but again, not as high quality as you'd expect for the price. I do really like the dot grid - though my blind as a bat eyes would prefer the ink was a smidge darker, I can see it OK. I do like the two ribbon bookmarks and the elastic to close the notebook. Overall, the notebook is good, but there are other notebooks out there better quality (and more expensive) OR similar quality and sized notebooks for cheaper prices.

I love the size of this book
I love the size of this book. It's easy to take everywhere without adding a lot more weight to my bag. It's almost impossible to find any of these or the dotted Moleskines in stores due to the current BuJo fad, but this was cheaper than most store prices anyway. I picked this over Moleskine because of the paper. It's slightly thicker, and while you do get a little ghosting, there isn't any bleed through unless you super saturate the page. I also love the pre-numbered pages and the included contents pages. Also, the removable pages at the end made it easy to rip out a page for testing pens without screwing up the lacing or losing other connected pages.

Only journal for me
So I bought this as less of a planner and more as a way to keep track of my studying in medical school, I list out the days in a week and then make checklists of the things I need to get accomplished study wise. I have a different planner to keep track of appointments and stuff, mostly to save time, but I think I might switch to bullet journaling because of this. It is amazing, it is flexible. I considered getting lined paper because I haven't done dots before, but I am so glad I decided on dots. It keeps it organized as well as lines would, but the paper looks less crowded, if that makes sense. I am considering buying another just for personal journaling, and I imagine that I'll keep using this brand until I die. It's just that good.

My favorite journals
I actually bought this by accident. I have a hard cover Leuchturm1917 and absolutely love it, so I decided to buy another. Didn't realize this was the soft cover. It was a happy accident.Like the hard cover, it has numbered grid pages, ribbon bookmarks, elastic closure, and a pocket in the back. Like the hard cover it lies flat. I've seen very little bleedthrough. And for whatever reason, pencil marks seem pretty easy to erase. The cover seems durable as well. My only real issue is that there are fewer pages in the soft cover.I love the Leuchturm1917 journals in general. I'm not likely to give up my hard cover versions, but I wouldn't complain too much if I had to use one of these instead.

My favorite notebook for notes and ideas.
Perfect notebook for my needs. I have PTSD and forget stuff all the time, so I take a lot of notes. I also have a real affinity for fine paper. I use to use Moleskine notebooks exclusively (I still think they’re good), but ever since I first bought a Leuchtturm I don’t think I’ll ever have to find a new type of notebook. The paper is smooth, but holds ball and gel ink great! The pages are thick and strong, but not too thick to make the weight of the page cumbersome. I really like the two attached bookmarks. It does offer a few stickers for identification and they seem to stay well.10/10 will buy again.

Lower quality than before
I used to really love Leuchtturn1917. I've had two great notebooks from them (one was this B5 in black), but I just got the same B5 in blue and the pages are thinner so my ink bleeds through too much now. Additionally, the font is different and the margins are now strangely wide at the top and bottom. I'm torn about this brand now. I love it, but am disappointed the quality is not consistent.

Binding fell apart...
Initially I was pretty excited about this journal, as I liked the dot grid and soft cover and the A5 size is perfect.Less than a month of ownership though, and limited use, and the cover has already peeled off if the binding. I'm very disappointed, as this was not a low cost journal nor did I put it under any undue stress. Look for a different brand or choose a hardcover notebook.

Thin paper
Would not recommend this notebook for people who like to use fineliners and coloured pens as the ink seeps through. Even writing in pencil shows. Product description says paper is thick but it is not

[...] Gracias.**

Sleek Journal, great for bulleting
This is now my goto Journal for work. You can easily use these for bullet journaling or general everyday use.A5 journals are perfect for me. Fit easily in a nag or pocket but still plenty of soace for my musings.Pros:Sleek and professional with moleskin-type coverNice and robustEasy to bookmark your current page (with both a tassel-style bookmark and an elasticated binder)Easy to stay organised - Page numbers and index pagesChoice of lined or faint square markingsSlimline an compactCons:While it's nice amd compact, they run out wuickly if used daily. I could probably use a slightly thicker version/one with more pages

Settling on this one
A friend of mine saw my "Army" coloured notebook and was very intrigued, so I bought her one for Xmas, just in blue. That said, my dotted B5 has been a constant companion since mid-2016 and I use it as a very free-form bullet journal, to track projects, progress, schedule things and generally keep track of everything. After trying all kinds of systems, I think a freeform, Leuchtturm1917 based home-brew system works best, and these notebooks are the blank canvas I need to fit in everything.

The paper feels nice, I love that it comes with stick labels
The paper feels nice, I love that it comes with stick labels, that it has an index with numbered pages and a pocket in the back. It is a massive improvement from using recycled muji notebooks for my bullet journal and Will last me much longer. I also enjoy having a built in bookmark for the pages and a binder too as this stops it from flapping open after a few uses. Very happy and would order it again as the use I will get out of it is well worth the money spent.
