Flows well and great for fine work.
This solder was recommended to me by several high end electronic DIY’s and EE’s and has yet to disappoint. I have used other brands which were quite good, but this remains tops on my list. Great for fine work on circuits.

It's been a standard for decades.
It's strange to me that I had to order solder online. None of the local stores carried known quality. But ordering online had a couple problems. One is that there are dozens of brands with names consisting of a random collection of letters and a few that perported to at least have pronouncable names. Some of them might be just fine or even great, but how would you know? And, there is the whole push for lead free solder which I consider only suitable for plumbing and not very good for that. So, I looked for the names I have trusted for 5 decades. Ersin seems to have dissappeared being absorbed by a conglomerate. But Kester, particularly Kester 44, has always worked for me. And I prefer the 63/37 eutectic for sensitive electronics. One last hurdle. I am retired and a pound of solder would probably oxidize before I got a chance to use it all. Fortunately, these guys have taken to repackage it in a reasonable quantity since I'm not using miles of it anymore. Not cheap, but I can trust the connections.

Highly Recommended
Wish I’d have found this solder years ago. Always struggled with joining wires or terminals. This stuff melts and works so easy. If you’re an amateur like me doing some shade tree work now and again, it’s well worth the investment.

Amazing product
This product is a lifesaver for small soldering. It melts fast and sets shinny. I have uses Kester's with the silver in it and this product flows much better.

Don't take any wire out. Be careful.
I'm sure it is good solder but you have to be careful. There is a small hole in one end cap to pull wire through so it looks like the picture. If you use the other end, the product is wrapped in there like a slinky so once you take it out, you can't get it back in the tube. I thought the packaging would be better

Great Solder Wire To Replace Capacitors in DVD/VCR Player
Used this Kester 44 Solder Wire to repair 5 blown Capacitors in my 2008 Panasonic DVD/VCR Player/Recorder. There’s a lot of solder wire in the tube, more than I’ll ever need for repairs on my video equipment. Did the job nicely. Very pleased with the results and my VCR/DVD recorder is back up and running again!
