Natco Chilli Powder Kashmiri 100g

Natco are a good, reliable company - I buy many of their spices and have never been disappointed. Mid-range price, good value, good flavours and aromas. You can't go wrong!

Kashmiri chilli powder such as this version is hot, but not 'Jumping Jack Flash' hot, because some chilli powder is manufactured from Scotch Bonnets, whereas this powder is NOT. Hence, Kashmiri chilli can be relied on to impart a highly fragrant spicy heat to your meals, but if you are unused to chilli powder, at first go easy on the amount. You can always add a bit more of this chilli powder later on in your recipe, but if you are new to making Indian food, this powder will be just fine. Fragrant, but not too hot Indian cuisine recipes can be found in the delightful book, Ismail Merchant's Indian Cuisine (Futura) can be bought pre-used from Amazon which I recommend use of this splendid chilli powder from Kashmir.

Lovely, tasty chilli powder. Kashmiri chillis have a fearsome reputation for heat, but they're really not that bad...if you find this powder too hot, just use less. It's a beautiful, complex blend that no kitchen cupboard should be without.

I like Kashmiri chilli powder . It’s a bit milder with a nice flavour. I also like this company. They are very reliable and competitively priced.
