RDS Dryer CRB Fishing Rod Building Drying System W/Stand 9 R.P.M. 110 Volt

Bought this CRB rod dryer to replace some eyelets on some fishing rods that were damaged for a friend. First time ever using it and the product does what it says it does. I epoxy new eyelets on in line with existing eyelets and let cure in the dryer,turned out very well.

This works very well. Note that the receptacle for the handle end is fairly large. I was using it for a couple of rod sections. There is a rod blank extension tool that you'll need to buy separately if you don't have the butt end for the holder. Other than that it works perfectly.

These are a game changer for anyone that is looking to build fishing rods. My husband attached his to a piece of wood so they would accidentally get bumped off the counter.

Before purchasing this I was experiencing sagging while my epoxy was drying. Being new to rod repair, I didn't even know this existed. One day while surfing for answers I saw this tool and it saved the day for me. I will say the rubber will not accommodate large rod ends but they have an adaptor to alleviate that problem. It was on backorder when I purchased this rod turner. It also helped me with my wrapping of the thread also. I just put the rod on it and manually turn the rod as I wrap the thread as I run the thread through a book to keep tension on the thread.

It is light so you may have to clamp to a table. It would be better if the rod holder hole was smaller. Some rods stick handle diameter is too small which you may need to roll some masking tape for it to hold inside dryer hole. Otherwise it is a decent starters drying kit.

product is overpriced for what you get. not a value buy. item is assembles using zap straps, and the electrical portion of electric motor is visible. product really needs work on the finishing portion.in my opinion its only worth 30 bucks. feels flimsy i dont thinks it will last long. time will tell
